Andor Season 2 is all set to premiere its final batch of episodes on May 13, marking the end of the series that has been considered the best thing from the Star Wars franchise lately. The 9 episodes that have been released for Season 2 as of now have been a masterclass in storytelling with their mature handling of themes. It has been extremely refreshing to witness this series, owing to its exceptional writing.
Here are a few things that we can expect in the final batch of episodes for Andor Season 2.
5 things that might happen in the Andor Season 2 finale episodes
The one thing that we do know about Andor Season 2 is that it will bring its characters and their journeys to a point where they can seamlessly fit into the Rogue One timeline. The rebel alliance that has been steadily growing throughout the show will reach a point where they've sacrificed everything for the cause. So, here are a few things that might happen in the finale episodes to facilitate the future.
Mon Mothma's family might pay the price of her betrayal

The fact that Mon Mothma betrays the Empire and leads the Rebellion makes her a target for the Empire. Her betrayal might be punished by the Empire, and one way for them to really hit where it hurts would be to hurt her family. It was revealed in Season 1 that she had a family, and her actions might just lead to her family being executed by the Empire. It is a dark prediction, but that has never stopped the creators of the show before. This punishment might be exactly what pushes her deeper into the cause in Andor Season 2, becoming the thing that drives her.
Dedra might be next on Bix's kill list

Bix's trauma from being tortured all season by Dr. Gorst has been her driving force in the second season. Even though she was working on healing from her traumatic experience, she was seen struggling with it. When she found out that Dr. Gorst's torturous methods could be expanded into an actual program, leading to so much more pain and suffering, she ended up killing Gorst to prevent that from happening.
Even though the last batch of episodes featured Bix making the heartbreaking decision to leave Cassian, there is a very high possibility that her role in the show is not over yet, as she is yet to exact her revenge on Dedra, who was the one overseeing and approving Bix's torture. Now that Bix has killed Dr. Gorst in Andor Season 2, there is a big chance that Dedra might be next on that list.
Dedra might just figure out who "Axis" is

"Axis," or Luthen, has been giving the Imperial Security Bureau and Dedra so much trouble through his network and his behind-the-scenes maneuvering, much like Dedra. Even though she has been assigned to the Ghormans, she has been single-mindedly obsessed with finding out who "Axis" is. There is a very high possibility that the Andor Season 2 finale episodes might show Dedra and Luthen face-to-face.
An epilogue setting up the conclusion of the series

This one is more of a tradition than a prediction, but there is a big chance that the end of Andor Season might feature an epilogue, as animated shows have been doing. The Clone Wars, Rebels, and The Bad Batch have all had short epilogues set years after the events of the finale episode, so Andor Season 2 might adopt the same method.
Considering Andor is a prequel series, we already know the immediate actions that happen after the events of the finale (Rogue One), so there is a chance that this epilogue might be set after the events of Rogue One as well. This would allow the show to give a much greater chance at closure to the series rather than relying on the actions of Rogue One to do that.
Luthen might not survive the Andor Season 2 finale

If there's one death that the majority of viewers are expecting, it is Luthen's. His character throughout Andor has been a morally grey individual. Aside from the fact that Luthen doesn't feature in the "sequels" to Andor in the Star Wars timeline, there are aspects to his character that point to a death before the cause sees victory.
He is a morally grey character, fighting against evil, but he himself is not a completely "good" man. He has been actively making decisions, choosing who lives and who dies (is sacrificed) for the greater good of the cause. Also, he's constantly pushing the Empire to make things worse for so many people so that these people will join the Rebellion, without caring how many people and systems are being sacrificed due to his actions. Luthen has been saying that he's fighting for a cause, for a sunrise that he himself will not get to witness, so there is a big chance that he might not survive the finale.
Only time will tell if any of these predictions will come true, so hold on to your tissues; the Andor Season 2 finale batch is going to be a hard one.
