Created by Karyn Usher and Lisa Zwerling, this series is derived from a 2021 novel by Catherine Ryan Howard. The show is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Atomic Monster.

The executive producers of the show include Rob Hackett, Sandrine Gros d’Aillon, Michael Clear, and Danielle Bozzone. Catherine Ryan Howard is also serving as the co-executive producer.

What could be the plot of 56 Days?

The series follows the plot of how a new couple, who are in a passionate relationship, find their lives to be upside down upon a murder case that uncovers many truths.

Its synopsis, as per IMDb, goes as follows:

After a chance supermarket encounter, Oliver and Ciara embark on an intense relationship. When a savagely murdered corpse surfaces 56 days later, the investigation delves into their turbulent love story, revealing grim secrets.

As per Vital Thrills, unlike the book, which is set during the COVID lockdown, this particular story in the series does not occur during the pandemic.
