Battle Camp, the 2025 reality TV drama on Netflix, had viewers obsessing over it, with its distinctive physical trials, dramatic moments, and raw emotions. Hosted by a former NFL player, Taylor Lewan, the show united 18 contestants from other popular Netflix reality series like Love Is Blind, Too Hot to Handle, Cheer, The Circle, Squid Game: The Challenge, and more.

Trapped in a retro summer camp setting where a spinning wheel decides who stays and who goes, the participants had to endure severe penalties and social maneuvering to dodge the wheel and take home $250,000. Now, if you just wrapped up watching Battle Camp and you’re feeling that classic post-binge emptiness, it's your day because below is a curated list of 7 shows that you could indulge in. Get ready for a bumpy yet thrilling ride.

If you are a fan of Netflix's Battle Camp and live for a bit of drama, chaos, and mind games, The Circle can be your next binge-worthy obsession. It first aired on Netflix in 2020 and ran for seven long seasons, captivating audiences with some of the most exciting and unforgettable moments on television.

This US-based reality game show, produced by Studio Lambert and Motion Content Group, was a hit among audiences. The concept was that all the contestants had to live in the same building, but they were not allowed to meet each other in person or connect with the outside world.

Their only means of communication was through a voice-controlled social media app known as (you guessed it) The Circle, the twist being they could pretend to be anyone and catfish the others. The contestant who won at the end by receiving the highest number of votes and ratings was awarded a lump sum cash prize.

The Circle is so enjoyable for Battle Camp fans because it rightly serves thrilling scenes of social strategy and alliance tactics, only here, it happens online with emojis and hashtags, not through physical challenges. Prepare to be gasping and thoroughly glued to your screens.

2) Beast Games

Beast Games is a reality challenge show on Amazon Prime Video created and hosted by YouTube sensation Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast. It was broadcast in 2024, taking inspiration from the cult favorite series on Netflix, Squid Game. As 1000 daring participants faced off against each other with a five-million-dollar prize money on the line, the show laid down challenges for them that tested their physical and mental strengths and pushed them to their limits.

The set was huge and aptly called “Beast City,” designed to accommodate such a large cast taking on elaborate challenges. If you loved Battle Camp, you're bound to love Beast Games as well. The real drama lies in the eliminations and forming of new bonds amongst contestants, making the tension rise. The relationships prove to be just as riveting as the tasks.

Even though Battle Camp was not able to impress the critics, it surely became a fan favorite, making it to the top of Amazon Prime’s most-watched unscripted series. It pulled in over 50 million viewers in less than a month.

3) Squid Game: The Challenge

Inspired by Hwang Dong-hyuk’s South Korean fictional thriller on Netflix called Squid Game, Stephen Lambert produced this real-life contest show that first aired in 2023 on Netflix. Consisting of 10 episodes, Squid Game: The Challenge takes the drama to a whole different level through its portrayal of challenges that are intense, strenuous, and mess with the mind.

But unlike the OG drama, the stakes in this reality show are not life-threatening. 456 contestants are pitted against each other for a whopping amount of $4.56 million as the grand prize.

From the eerie “Red Light, Green Light” game or the honeycomb challenge to the looming bunk beds and uniforms, most of it was a recreation of the iconic set of the original Netflix series, brought to life with painstaking attention to detail. Each round was a test of the players’ stamina and strategy, much like what we see in Battle Camp.

Squid Game: The Challenge was like a social experiment that explored the complex dynamics of competition and how individuals exhibit certain behavioral patterns under stress and pressure. For the first two weeks following its debut, the show topped the list of Top 10 English-language shows on Netflix.

4) 13: Fear Is Real

If you're really into horror and spooky stuff, 13: Fear is Real is a show you wouldn't want to miss. Although it was short-lived due to its early cancellation by the network, all eight episodes offered a unique viewing experience for the audience. Combining the thrilling suspense of horror and the strategic elements of reality TV, the show first premiered in 2009 with a group of 13 brave participants.

As they found themselves struggling to survive through terrifying situations inspired by classic horror films, fans were exhilarated to see the cutthroat eliminations and constant shifts in loyalty and betrayal. Every week, challengers had to face their deepest, darkest fears, from battling claustrophobia to overcoming unnerving encounters with creepy creatures.

One unlucky soul among them would be eliminated through a dramatic “execution ceremony,” and the last person standing would eventually go home with $66,666 cash. It is a perfect weekend watch for anyone who admires the suspense and rush in Battle Camp.

5) 007: Road to a Million

Want to experience James Bond-inspired adventures, grueling physical and mental challenges, and the excitement of a reality game show, all in one? 007: Road to a Million should definitely be your next watch.

Released in 2023 via Amazon Prime Video, the show is hosted by the reputed star, Brian Cox, in the role of the mysterious “Controller.” Nine pairs of contestants compete against time and each other while journeying around the globe in pursuit of a chance to win £1 million.

From the rugged Scottish Highlands to the arid Atacama Desert, every location is straight out of a Bond film, plus the trivia questions from the Bond universe added further depth to the contest. Instead of directly facing off against one another, each duo was assigned a particular set of tasks, bringing a new angle to the show.

Though the critics have complained about the slow pace of the show, others have praised it for its stunning visuals and immersive experiences. Battle Camp fans in search of something fresh yet nostalgically familiar will be drawn to the exhilarating mix of action, strategy games, and emotional depth in 007: Road to a Million.

An American sports documentary series, Cheer, takes viewers behind the scenes of competitive cheerleading, through the trials and triumphs of Navarro College’s team from Corsicana, Texas, en route to the national stage. It first aired on Netflix in 2020. As they prepare themselves for competing in the National Cheerleading Championship in Daytona Beach, they are guided by their coach, the legendary Monica Aldama.

We get a glimpse of the athletes’ relentless determination and perseverance as they undergo immensely strenuous physical activities like aerial acrobatics, intense training routines, and constantly face the threat of injury.

However, besides all the flips and stunts, Cheer digs deeper into the lives of Gabi Butler, Morgan Simianer, and La'Darius Marshall, highlighting their personal struggles and the meaningful relationships they foster.

The series also exposes the cracks in the cheerleading world, including the NCAA’s refusal to officially recognize the sport and the obstacles cheerleaders encounter in earning respect and institutional support. So if you're looking for more of that competitive energy after watching Battle Camp, Cheer is a perfect follow-up.

7) Love Is Blind

Apart from a number of contestants, Love Is Blind has tons of other things in common with Battle Camp. Created by Chris Coelen, Love Is Blind has been streaming on Netflix since 2020 as one of the most exhilarating and addictive reality shows on television.

Battle Camp challenged participants with intense physical tasks and surprise eliminations, whereas Love Is Blind tested emotional connections through an unconventional social format. The show put a radical spin on dating with singles forging connections and even getting engaged without laying eyes on each other.

The only way they connected was by conversing through "pods," or soundproof rooms. They had to wait until they were engaged to meet face-to-face, live together, and start planning their weddings, all while dealing with the challenges of real-life romance.

With each episode, fans get more and more hooked as they watch participants confront emotional baggage and societal ideals, all while heading toward an unpredictable finale. The question “Who will say I do?” is what keeps the audience glued to the screen.

Love Is Blind won hearts all over the world with adaptations in countries like the UK, Japan, and Brazil, each adding their own cultural touch to it.
