Some television shows have successfully attracted a huge following alongside remarkable narratives, only to be discontinued before their era really starts. Apart from that, the causes can be diverse, including low viewership, exorbitant production costs, and decisions made by networks.

For years, the public has watched various highly rated series come to an abrupt end after only one or two seasons, thus leading to the conclusion that high quality does not necessarily mean a long life span. The genres have ranged from sci-fi to comedy, and these shows still manage to exist through the support of their fans and streaming services, where they have been revived.

Such shows are still discussed here and there over the years and remain as great and creative storytelling examples that many seasons have deserved to develop. Among them are the seven TV series that were prematurely cancelled but are still the most unforgettable ones.

Ironically the cast and writers of Freaks and Geeks went on to become gigantic Hollywood stars. In time Freaks and Geeks developed a cult following demonstrating that some tales simply take time to be loved.

The Society was one of Netflix's most anticipated young adult dramas that stood alone. The show took place in an enigmatic town deserted by adults and it depicted the lives of a group of teenagers who had to rule and make order by themselves. Its distinct feature was how it highlighted genuine social and political issues through the perspective of youth power morals and existence.

Nonetheless the story was so powerful that it still gets the fans' support for a revival even after years.

These and other remarkable performances make it clear that genius is not a universal passport to a long life in the industry. The end of each show, although all unfortunate, still created a fan base around the world and characters.

The voids caused by their being cut off have not been filled by any other series to the same extent. Hence, it is proven that the impact of a show counts more than its number of episodes. They, even without complete endings, manage to keep the discussions going and also maintain the loyal viewers wishing for a continuation.
