He gets famous, and the internet names him #HotTarzan. Though Blue truly deserves the appreciation of the people for his heroic act, it cannot be denied that he did not follow the safety protocol. For this, Don is called by the chief. He asks him about Blue. The chief initially wants Don to get rid of Blue. Don then requests him, saying that Blue is his son. Hearing Don’s plea, the Chief gives Blue a chance; however, he needs Blue to master the entire academy curriculum by next Friday.

The task that the chief gives Blue is definitely difficult, but he does not give up. He begins the rigorous task of learning through the curriculum. The whole team begins to help him with the situation. Initially, Blue is not able to get things right. He keeps on making mistakes, which eats away at his confidence. He begins to question himself.

He thinks that if he is unable to pass the test, he will not be accepted by the Hart family. Don also begins to worry and pressures Blue to do better. So, when the team goes for yet another rescue mission where a woman gets stuck inside a folding bed, Blue’s confidence completely crumbles. Don asks him to do a task, but he fails to do so as he gets completely stressed out with the intense pressure.

Blue begins to doubt his abilities, and it almost seems that he will be giving up. However, things completely change when Don’s team goes for a rescue mission where a sorority house is on fire. The color of the fire is green, and despite all the tests that the team does, they are not able to understand how to fix the issue.

Right then, Blue remembers that the green fire could be related to a nuclear reactor. Blue’s quick thinking comes in handy, and they are able to finally bring the fire under control and rescue the people stuck inside the house.

Blue’s path might be filled with many challenges, but he is definitely capable of becoming a capable first responder. After having a conversation with Blyther, Don understands that he might have put extreme pressure on Blue, which led to his getting tense in the situation.

He then apologizes to him and tells him that even if he does not pass the test, he is still part of the family. Don’s words are exactly what Blue has been eager to hear all his life. He wanted to become close to Don. Later, when he reaches Don’s house for brunch, things get complicated. He finds out about a photo album with his childhood pictures in it. Blue understands that, despite knowing that Blue exists, Don did not try to contact him.

The next episode of 9-1-1: Nashville will definitely bring in more tension as Blue is aware of the truth. How he will navigate through the challenges will definitely be intriguing to watch in the fifth episode of 9-1-1: Nashville.
