If you like to watch or rewatch Archer on Netflix, you'll need to binge it quickly, as the show is soon going to be leaving the platform. Due to licensing issues, not all shows can remain available on Netflix for a long time, and the same applies to Archer. The adult animated comedy series aired on FX from 2009 to 2016 and from 2017 to 2023 on FXX. Created by Adam Reed, Archer has fourteen seasons and follows dysfunctional secret agents and staff of the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS).
Currently, all fourteen seasons of the show are streaming on Netflix, but from next month, the first thirteen seasons of the show will not be available on the platform.
Archer leaving Netflix in November 2025
Archer ran for fourteen seasons and followed the agents of the fictional ISIS. The protagonist of the show, Sterling Archer, is an agent who works under his mother, Malory Archer, who was an agent at ISIS and then became the director. Other agents of the organization are supporting characters as well. The show has been streaming on Netflix for a while, but the first thirteen seasons will no longer be available for streaming from November 13, 2025. If you have started to watch the show or like to rewatch it from time to time, you have approximately three weeks to binge the show before it leaves the platform.
Archer has been a successful show since it is a satire that follows a team of deeply flawed secret agents employed by a chaotic organization. The group is led by the domineering Malory Archer and her arrogant, womanizing son, Sterling, whose antics constantly jeopardize their missions. Among the crew are Lana Kane, the agency’s most competent operative, and Sterling’s on-and-off romantic partner.
The entire crew is diverse and includes all kinds of weird people, from an unhinged scientist to an unpredictable HR manager. The show blends espionage with dark, fast-paced humor. The series evolves from Cold War parody to surreal explorations of Sterling’s subconscious during his post-coma dream worlds.
The voice cast of Archer includes H. Jon Benjamin as Sterling Archer, Jessica Walter as Malory Walter, Aisha Tyler as Lana Kane, Judy Greer as Cheryl Tunt, Amber Nash as Pam Poovey, Chris Parnell as Cyril Figgis, Lucky Yates as Dr. Algernop Krieger, and Adam Reed as Ray Gillette. Other members of the voice cast include George Coe, Jeffrey Tambor, Christian Slater, Jon Hamm, Allison Tolman, Dave Willis, Ona Grauer, Keegan-Michael Key, Bryan Cranston, J. K. Simmons, and Simon Pegg, among others.
The show has been produced by Jeff Fastner, Neal Holman, Chad Hurd, Eric Sims, and Bryan Fordney, and executive produced by Adam Reed, Matt Thompson, and Casey Willis. The production companies behind the show are Floyd County Productions and FXP.
Archer will be streaming on Netflix till November 13, 2025. If you have been thinking about watching the show, have watched it halfway, or would like to revisit it, now is the time to do so, before it leaves Netflix.
