In a recent Instagram video posted on Shark Tank expert, Kevin O'Leary expressed his excitement about his current pursuits, showcasing a major business undertaking in particular. He disclosed that he and billionaire businessman Frank McCourt are actively seeking to buy TikTok's U.S. assets from ByteDance, the company's parent. "I mean, imagine I have a good chance along with Frank McCourt of buying TikTok. That's a big deal."

The clip began with the political commentator questioning the billionaire on whether he wished to pursue his dream of becoming a president.
Answering the question, O'Leary talked about how his love for what he does drives him every day and how his work is an essential part of who he is.
"I'm really enjoying what I'm doing. I mean, I get up in the morning and I'm just fired up to do more of what I do."
He further talked about how the idea of planning to buy TikTok alongside the billionaire, Frank McCourt is exciting to him.
He also added that the legacy of closing a deal of this global scope is more valuable than the actual financial gain. He points out that bringing two superpowers together in collaboration is a unique chance that very few people ever get to enjoy.
"I'm not even in it for the money. It's the legacy of pulling that off. To create a deal that's a global deal that gets two giant nations working cooperatively. I mean, who gets to do that? How few people get that opportunity?"
As the video comes to a close, he emphasizes how difficult it is to reconcile two governments, devoting 40% of his day to the agreement, which expires on April 5.
