A Kaiju and more chaos in the new trailer for Futurama Season 13 

The 13th season of Futurama is set to be released on Hulu soon, and the streamer has just released the trailer, revealing the adventures we're about to witness in the coming season. Futurama season 13 is going to be released on September 15, 2025, and will have ten episodes.

The trailer for season 13 features a large-sized Bender fighting a Kaiju, among other weird plotlines we're used to seeing on the show.

Futurama season 13

Futurama is a science fiction sitcom created by Matt Groening. It was first released on Fox, later picked up by Comedy Central, and then revived by Hulu in 2022. The show has released 12 seasons till now, and the 13th season is going to be released on September 15, 2025, while the 14th season is expected to be released in 2026.

Futurama follows Philip J. Fry, a pizza delivery boy who fell into a cryogenic pod on 1st January 2000, where he froze for a thousand years. He woke on New Year's Eve in 2099 to a changed world. Since he hasn't aged a day and needs to survive, Phillip starts working as a cargo delivery personnel at Planet Express. The show revolves around his adventures in this new world. He is joined by Turanga Leela, captain of the Planet Express ship, whom he falls in love with and later marries, and Bender Bending Rodriguez, a robot with the most unpopular habits.

The trailer of season thirteen of Futurama begins with Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth warning his audience of an impending global extinction. He tells them that they need to act now. Leela and Fry are not exactly interested in what the Professor has to say and leave to head to the lobby.

We also see that Fry and Leela have different perspectives on why they are perfect for each other, as Bender puts it. Fry thinks it's because they are very similar, while Leela thinks it's because they are very different. So this might be a sign that they have to do some work on their relationship, or it might just be a bad coincidence.

Season 13 will feature a big threat, a Kaiju, and Bender will take 'deroids,' which will make him bigger. Besides, we also see Fry and Leela operate a huge-sized Bender from the inside to fight the Kaiju. The season will also feature its usual humorous scenes, which make the show the popular sitcom that it is.

Zoidberg are voiced by Billy West, Turanga Leela is voiced by Katey Sagal, Bender Bending Rodriguez is voiced by John DiMaggio, Hermes Conrad is voiced by Phil LaMarr, and Amy Wong is voiced by Lauren Tom. The show has been developed by Matt Groening and David X. Cohen, who also serve as showrunners and executive producers. Other executive producers are Ken Keeler and Claudia Katz.

Futurama is streaming on Hulu, and season 13 will be released on Hulu on September 15, 2025.
