One of the greatest video game adaptations from Prime Video, Fallout Season 2 is finally returning. A month ahead of the fandom's return to the Wasteland, Prime Video has released the official trailer ahead of the December 17 premiere.
The Emmy-winning Prime Video show has already been awarded an early renewal for the third season, but the chaos of the second season is yet to begin. Season one of the Prime Video adaptation found Lucy and the Ghoul bitter enemies standing against each other, but the second season is new ground for both of them, as reluctant partners finding their way with each other.

Prime Video releases a brand-new trailer for Fallout Season 2
The second season of the iconic Prime Video adaptation is set in Vegas, or a den of monsters, as Ella Purnell's Lucy calls it. The second season finds her on a journey with the Ghoul, played by Walter Goggins. An uncommon duo, the two have their own personal missions to achieve on this shared journey across the Wasteland.
Lucy, as revealed by the Ghoul, is on a journey to find her stepdad Hank, played by Kyle MacLachlan. What she's going to do once she manages to find him remains a mystery. The Ghoul asks her the same question, for her to tell him:
"Gonna bring him to justice. So people know that how they conduct themselves matters. And they don't give up hope."
The Ghoul also has a much more personal mission that has managed to help him survive in the last 200 years on the Wasteland. He admits:
"I wastelanded for 200 years. I've kept myself alive for one reason. To find my family."
The latest trailer teases a lot of what the Ghoul and Lucy will be facing on their journey across the Wasteland as a civil war breaks out. The action-packed visuals of the Fallout Season 2 trailer are just a start to all the violence and chaos that the second season is set to be home to.
Apart from Goggins, Prunell, and MacLachlan, several other actors have joined the Fallout Season 2 cast, including Xelia Mendes-Jones, Kumail Nanjiani, Macaulay Culkin, Justin Theroux, Aaron Moten, and Moises Arias.

In contrast to the Fallout Season 1 rollout, all episodes will not be released at once. Instead, the December 17 premiere will be followed by the weekly release of single episodes, setting the season finale up for February 4. To make things even more exciting, the Prime Video adaptation has already been awarded an early renewal for the third season, way ahead of the second season's release.
The trailer does seem to point out that Fallout Season 2, despite being set in one of the major locations for the franchise, might be taking a different approach to the story compared to the original material. However, knowing Fallout Season 1's critical success and the early renewal for the third season, there's no doubt the second season will perform equally well.
