Next Gen NYC Episode 7: Riley and Georgia find themselves on opposite ends of an argument about "privileges"
While in the kitchen, a few of the cast members, including Shai, Riley, Georgia, and more, were casually chatting. Emira and a few others were sitting around listening to the conversations.
During one of the conversations, Next Gen NYC star Shai mentioned:
"I don't think it matters that much. I don't think it matters. It's over. I'm just confused why it's such a big deal that we're fighting about your problem. Like, we've been dissecting the most privileged argument."
As soon as he said "privileged," Georgia jumped in and asked:
"Wait, privilege?"
She added that she "literally" had $4000 in her "bank account privilege."
For that, she noted that she had to "work for."
"I see in a nice a*s house for Brooks Marks's birthday party, and we'll argue about who's opening a club," responded Shai.
Georgia shared her thoughts about being "privileged" and said that it would be if her "daddy" gave her a million dollars. In his private confessional, Next Gen NYC star Shai shared that while Georgia was sitting in a house in Jersey Shore and enjoying a meal from a "private chef," that was "pretty privileged."
Shining more light on being "privileged," Riley added that the definition was basically that she had "better than others."
"We're all privileged in a way. Just acknowledge it is privileged to say, Oh, my boyfriend is investing in me. Like, that is privileged. Like, period. Do your thing. But, like, that is. Like, no one's hating you for that," added Riley.
Next Gen NYC star Georgia added that she "literally f*cking manifested" a rich boyfriend. Shocked by what she said, Shai was shocked. He said it was "absurd." While Riley was explaining what Shai meant, Georgia got in an argument with her.
Riley kept on repeating that she didn't say "privileged," but it was Shai who said it, and Georgia was still sharing her side. The argument escalated, and more cast members, including Ariana, joined it. Seeing her take Georgia's side, Riley was shocked.
