Acapulco Season 4 premiered with a double episode on July 23, 2025, and both episodes immediately threw Maximo into more chaos. In the present day, Maximo and Julia work together to renovate Las Colinas, while Maximo begins sharing stories from the past with Memo’s son. Flashbacks start three weeks after young Maximo takes over as Head of Operations. His first challenge is a failed meeting with lime supplier Don Chavez.

Trying too hard to sound like a boss, Maximo offends Chavez, who cuts ties. Dulce then worsens the situation by kidnapping Chavez’s dog, Kelly, hoping to give Maximo some leverage. Kelly runs away and ends up with Nemo and Lorena, but Maximo eventually finds the dog. Chavez assumes Maximo rescued her and agrees to do business again.

Meanwhile, Vera enforces strict rules for the staff without consulting Maximo. She bans casual guest interactions, flirting, and freebies—things that made Las Colinas feel like home. Chad expresses concerns as Hector stops dancing mid-performance to avoid breaking rules. Maximo tries to confront Vera but is ignored.

When Maximo finds out it’s Vera’s birthday, he plans a Roman Empire-themed party, hoping it will help reduce tensions. The staff works all night to prepare, but Vera dismisses their efforts and crushes any hope of change. She even announces they won’t be paid for overtime. Maximo walks out in protest. One by one, the staff follows him. The strike begins.

Just as tensions reach a breaking point, Diane returns to Las Colinas. She doesn’t cause a scene, but it’s clear she’s not there to stay quiet. With Vera alienating the staff and Diane back in the picture, Maximo’s position is at risk. The first two episodes set the stage for a complicated power struggle, and Maximo’s loyalty to both the staff and the hotel will be tested at every turn.
