Acapulco Season 4 is about to hit the OTT screens soon. Based on the 2017 Mexican-American comedy movie, How to Be a Latin Lover, Acapulco is a comedy series by Apple TV+ that features Eugenio Derbez, Damián Alcázar, Jessica Collins, and others. Created by Austin Winsberg, Eduardo Cisneros, and Jason Shuman, the comedy show first premiered on October 8, 2021. The series was renewed for a second season, which premiered on October 21, 2022. The third season of the show premiered on May 1, 2024. Finally, Acapulco Season 4 will arrive on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. The fourth season of the show will also be its final season.
The show focuses on the life story of Maximo Gallardo Ramos (Derbez), who is a successful mogul living in Malibu. The show alternates between two timelines as it showcases Maximo's present, and his past where he was a struggling working-class young man, who worked as a pool boy at the Las Colinas Resort. The show chronicles his rags-to-riches story as Maximo soon comes to own the Las Colinas Resort.
Acapulco Season 4 release schedule
Each season of the show has had ten episodes and even Acapulco Season 4 will have 10 episodes. The first two episodes of the show will release simultaneously on July 23, 2025 and the rest of the episodes will release weekly.
The finale of the third season of the show revealed how Maximo unwittingly rose to the ranks of the manager at the Las Colinas Resort and how he finally gets ownership of the resort and wants to renovate it and build it together with his romantic interest, Julia.
Therefore, Acapulco Season 4 will begin on an interesting note as it will focus on Maximo’s relationships with Julia and his friends and his will to reinvent his prized Las Colinas Resort. The show has received positive reviews for its humor and story and it will be interesting to watch how Maximo’s journey finally unravels during his last lap in Acapulco Season 4.
