As per the outlet, Haha, You Clowns is renewed not only for its second season, but also for a third one. The show is aired on Adult Swim, which has greenlit this possibility.

President of the television programming block, Michael Ouweleen, is all praise to the show's creator, Joe Cappa, as well as the entire team. He says:

“It’s amazing that Joe and the team made something as radically heartfelt and strangely uncanny as ‘Haha, You Clowns.’”

Furthermore, Ouweleen also mentions the role of the audience's active engagement with the show. This has greatly enabled the company to expand Haha, You Clowns, as he adds:

“But what’s even more amazing is that – in this cynical, uncertain time – all of you showed up for this new show, championed for it on social media, and grew it week over week so we could greenlight not one, but two more seasons. In the words of the show: ‘You are strong! You are loved!’”

A network undertaking the commitment to growing this series, that, too, for two more seasons, is undoubtedly huge. It means that the show has worked well for the company, both in terms of critical and commercial performance. As a result, Adult Swim has now decided on a more ambitious plan that will flourish the future of Haha, You Clowns.

Themes related to grief and loss are universal and relatable to people. These are also deeply human feelings that most people can resonate with. So, when a show explores those emotions, along with heartwarming and humorous moments added into the mix, it is bound to stir something within the audience.

Haha, You Clowns, upon its release, has received an impressive ranking of 7/5/10 on IMDb. Joe Cappa has voiced the four primary characters of the show, including Tom, Preston, Tristan and Duncan. The rest of the voice actors include Kirsten Cappa, Crystal Ortiz, June Squibb, Jeanette "The Black Widow" Lee, Justin Theroux, Cheri Oteri and many others.

As per the outlet, Joe Cappa has shared how he feels about the renewal of the show, by stating:

“I’m so grateful to the fans of the show who gave ‘Haha, You Clowns’ a chance and spread the word. I’m incredibly thrilled I get to hang out at the Campbell household for a little longer.”
