Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials is Netflix's upcoming three-part mystery series based on the author's 1929 novel The Seven Dials Mystery. Christie is famously dubbed the Queen of Crime, with her mystery whodunit stories recognized as an integral part of detective fiction.

The upcoming Netflix adaptation will introduce one of her youngest and most amateur detectives, Lady Eileen 'Bundle' Brent. Described as a spirited 'It girl' by Christie herself, the character appears in two of her novels, namely The Secret of Chimneys (1925) and The Seven Dials Mystery (1929).

Since Lady Eileen 'Bundle' Brent is one of Christie's lesser-known and underrated detectives, fan anticipation is expected. Seasoned fans must be familiar with Lady Eileen 'Bundle' Brent's fictional lore but Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials on Netflix will introduce a new detective figure in pop culture.

While the Queen of Crime has crafted many impressive detectives across her mystery crime fiction, Netflix's upcoming Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials will introduce one of her youngest and most underrated detectives. The world has read and loved Christie's stories featuring the beloved Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot and the elderly detective, Miss Marple. While Poirot and Marple are two of the most famous and recurring characters/detectives across Agatha Christie's stories, Netflix is gearing up to introduce the world to Lady Eileen 'Bundle' Brent.

Lady Eileen 'Bundle' Brent stands in complete contrast to Christie's other detectives. She is not only the youngest but also the most amateur of detectives, who finds herself in the middle of a deadly investigation in two of the author's books.

Netflix's Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials will introduce Lady Eileen 'Bundle' Brent as Clement Edward Alistair Brent's eldest daughter. Clement Edward is the 9th Marquess of Caterham and the owner of Chimneys, a country house based on Abney Hall, Cheshire. The central mystery in the miniseries will kick-start when Sir Oswald and Lady Coote rent Brent's Chimney house for a lavish party, which turns into a murder scene.

Lady Eileen 'Bundle' Brent's connection with the Chimneys will directly involve her with the crime and she will be on the case. Netflix Tudum describes the mystery as:

''It will be up to the unlikeliest of sleuths — the fizzingly inquisitive Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent— to unravel a chilling plot that will change her life, cracking wide open the country house mystery.''

While Poirot and Miss Marple have experience and impressive observational skills. Lady Eileen 'Bundle' Brent is an amateur. While she might be viewed as a mere young and curious lady, she will prove her worth by solving the mystery at hand. It is certainly exciting to see one of Christie's most subversive detectives getting the spotlight she deserves in this Netflix adaptation.
