Alien: Earth Episode 8 is the final chapter, which is set to air on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, marking the conclusion of Noah Hawley’s ambitious FX series. The episode will premiere on FX and stream the next day on Hulu in the United States, with international availability varying by region, including Disney+ in select countries.
Titled The Real Monsters, Episode 8 will pick up directly after the events of Emergence, where Wendy formed an unexpected alliance with a xenomorph, Arthur’s body gave way to a chestburster, and Boy Kavalier moved forward with his disturbing plan to use the eye alien in a human host.
The finale brings back Sydney Chandler (Wendy), Alex Lawther (Joe), Lily Newmark (Nibs), Samuel Blenkin (Boy Kavalier), Timothy Olyphant (Kirsh), Essie Davis (Dame Sylvia), Babou Ceesay (Morrow), and more.
Alien: Earth Episode 8 will serve as the decisive confrontation between Prodigy, the Weyland-Yutani forces, and the surviving hybrids, with Wendy’s loyalties in question after the chaos of Episode 7. With a runtime expected to match the longer format of recent episodes, the finale will determine the fates of the hybrids, the xenomorph, and the eye alien that Boy Kavalier believes could change everything.
When does Alien: Earth Episode 8 air?

The season finale, Alien: Earth Episode 8, is confirmed to air on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 8 PM Eastern Time (ET) in the United States. Like every previous installment, the episode will premiere on FX, the official broadcaster of the series, before becoming available for streaming.
Fans who prefer to watch digitally will be able to stream the episode on Hulu shortly after the televised debut. Hulu has served as the exclusive streaming home for U.S. audiences this season, offering both next-day episodes and full-season access for viewers looking to catch up before the finale.
For international viewers, the release schedule differs slightly. The episode is set to premiere on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 1 AM GMT in regions covered by FX’s global distribution.
Countries outside the U.S. will primarily access the show through Disney+, which has carried the series under the Star banner in markets like the UK, Canada, and Australia. Availability times may vary depending on local time zones and regional licensing agreements, so fans are encouraged to confirm with their local listings.
While partnered services may offer the show, FX and Hulu in the U.S., Disney+ internationally remains the primary official platform. The release of Episode 8 will close out the first season, following the major cliffhangers of Episode 7 and setting up what is expected to be the final confrontation between Wendy, Joe, Nibs, Boy Kavalier, Prodigy, and Weyland-Yutani.
With such a high-stakes conclusion, fans worldwide will want to ensure they know the exact broadcast time and streaming availability so they do not miss the final installment of this unpredictable season.
Alien: Earth Episode 7 recap

Alien: Earth Episode 7, Emergence, begins with Slightly tending to Arthur, who lies unconscious with a facehugger attached. Smee enters and, after initial hesitation, helps Slightly carry Arthur through the facility.
At the same time, alarms blare as Prodigy soldiers capture the acid-spitting fly creatures, while Boy Kavalier marvels at their abilities. When Wendy enters the lab, she is blocked from leaving, but she communicates with the caged xenomorph. Her connection unsettles the soldiers, and she later unlocks its cage remotely, unleashing carnage across the facility.
Wendy refuses to leave without the other hybrids, visiting Nibs and Curly. Nibs agrees to escape, while Curly chooses to stay loyal to Prodigy. Meanwhile, Slightly and Smee move Arthur outside, only to watch in horror as a chestburster erupts from him in the woods. The baby alien escapes, leaving Arthur’s body hollow. Soon after, Weyland-Yutani soldiers led by Morrow arrive, seizing Slightly and Smee.
Inside, Boy Kavalier conducts tests on the eye alien hosted in a sheep. When shown the pi symbol, it responds with the correct digits, confirming its intelligence. Kavalier decides the creature must be transferred into a human host. Elsewhere, Wendy, Joe, and Nibs reach the forest dock but are ambushed by armed soldiers.
Wendy summons the xenomorph, which slaughters their attackers. Later, Nibs’ violent outburst prompts Joe to stun her, enraging Wendy. The xenomorph, watching from the trees, prepares for its next move.
