Alien: Earth episode release schedule: When do the new episodes drop?

Alien: Earth has finally dropped an official trailer for the upcoming sci-fi thriller horror set in 2120, a few years before Alien, but well after Prometheus. The show follows the consequences of:

"when the mysterious deep space research vessel USCSS Maginot crash lands on Earth, ‘Wendy’ (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat,"

The Alien: Earth trailer introduces the fallen ship with the five different life forms that've been collected from the darkest corners of the universe, and when these predatory monsters are no longer under capture, they might turn out to be the biggest threat the team is forced to face. The trailer leaves us wanting so much more, so here is the release schedule for new episodes of the exciting sci-fi horror.

Alien: Earth premieres with its first two episodes on August 12, 2025, at 8 PM ET on Hulu and Disney+, after which new episodes will drop every Tuesday. The FX series has an eight-episode season with its release spread out till September 23.

We're introduced to Wendy, played by Sydney Chandler, a terminally ill child, who becomes the world's first synthetic human when her consciousness is transferred into an adult with greater abilities, marking a new dawn for humanity. When the ship with the different lifeforms, referred to as monsters, has crash-landed on Prodigy City, Earth, Wendy volunteers to go into the remains of the ship along with a team to collect and bring the predatory species back with them, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead.

Sydney Chandler will be joined by Samuel Blenkin as Boy Kavalier, Alex Lawther as Hermit, Timothy Olyphant as Kirsh, Babou Ceesay as Morrow, Samuel Blenkin as Boy Kavalier, David Rhysdahl as Arthur Sylvia, Adrian Edmondson as Atom Eins, Lily Newmark as Nibs, Essie Davis as Dame Sylvia, Adarsh Gourav as Slightly, Erana James as Curly, Kit Young as Tootles, Jonathan Ajayi as Smee, Moe Bar-El as Rashidi, Diêm Camille as Siberian, and Sandra Yi Sencindiver as Yutani.

Alien: Earth is set in an Earth governed by five different corporations, namely, Prodigy, Lynch, Wyeland-Yutani, Threshold, and Dynamic. Prodigy takes a huge step ahead in this corporate world through its technological advancement in creating an immortal synthetic human with a human consciousness and a robotic body with artificial intelligence.

Alien: Earth marks Hawley, the showrunner and author's latest collaboration with FX, which also involves David W. Zucker, Ridley Scott, Dana Gonzales, Joseph Iberti, and Clayton Krueger as executive producers.
