30 Rock is a sitcom well-received critically and little talked about within the audience. The seven seasons of this Emmy-winning comedy followed The Girlie Show, which showed everything behind making the late-night NBC sketch show.

However, a long list of shows have found their deserving audience years after their release. Thanks to streaming, and hopefully, such is the case for 30 Rock, now available to stream. All 7 seven seasons of the Emmy juggernaut will now be available to watch on Prime Video, and here's why you should add this show to your watchlist.

The sitcom, created by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, started as inspiration from Tina's time running the Saturday Night Live writers' room, but it didn't take much time before it took on a life of its own. The show works out for the best within a show framework, as it removes any sense of boundary and manages to create a darling workplace comedy.

30 Rock follows Tina Fey's Elizabeth "Liz" Lemon, the executive showrunner for The Girlie Show starring her friend Jenna Maroney. When Jack Donaghy, a new executive vice president for the network, is hired, he decides to ensure that TGS gets the audience it deserves. The description for the show reads:

"The life of the head writer at a late-night television variety show. From the creator and stars of SNL comes this workplace comedy. A brash network executive bullies head writer Liz Lemon into hiring an unstable movie star. A self-obsessed celeb, an arrogant boss, and a sensitive writing staff challenge Lemon to run a successful program -- without losing her mind."

He goes on to hire Tracy Jordan, a wild and unpredictable star, to bring up the ratings for TGS. However, all the burnt for his actions falls on Liz's shoulders, who has to figure out how to control the chaos that ensues next while trying to make the late-night sketch show successful.

Apart from the powerful cast, including Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Tracy Jordan, Jane Krakowski, and Kenneth Parcell, 30 Rock also boasts an excellent background score. The best part about the show is that when it comes to humor, no topic, from pedophilia to alcoholism, is too questionable or off-limits for them. And the best part: every rewatch introduces you to a new and cruder joke that you missed when you first watched it.

Finally, the show has welcomed an array of guest stars over the years, from Tim Conway and Elaine Stritch to Jennifer Aniston, Elizabeth Banks, and Matt Damon. 30 Rock can definitely be an acquired taste, but if you're looking for unapologetically funny comedy that surprises you in every rewatch, head over to Prime Video to stream all seven seasons of the show.
