1) Episode 1

The world of K-ramas gave us numerous zombie apocalypse-related storylines. Out of these, All of Us Are Dead season 1 truly shines bright with its creative prowess. Especially in the first episode, where we see how it all starts. Jin-su falls from the terrace after his bullies constantly tormented him. In the hospital, Jin-su’s father takes him back to the house so that he does not reveal his zombie tendency in front of the doctors.
Jin-su’s father, Lee Byeong-chan, is the mastermind behind the virus. Later, a mouse that is also infected bites a student. The student is locked in by Lee Byeong-chan. However, she escapes and begins to attack others. The nurse, who was also bitten by the girl also starts to attack others. This quickly creates immense chaos on the school premises.
How All of Us Are Dead depicted the spread of the virus is truly worth appreciating. It is fresh and immensely creative.
Here, the aspect of an outbreak inside a school, which is usually considered a safe space for students, becomes the ground for terror. The infected student starts to bite the healthy students. The level of gore right from the very start of this episode in this K-drama sets the tone for the rest of the storyline.
2) Episode 3

This episode in All of Us Are Dead season 1 is truly a unique depiction of human dilemmas and psyche. After the group of friends safely reaches the broadcast room, things get complicated because of Na-yeon. She starts to accuse Gyeong-su of being infected. She tells him that he should leave the room so that the rest are safe.
Now, it can be seen from the very beginning that Na-yeon has hostility towards Gyeon-su. Time and again, she insulted him and constantly instigated him. When she accuses him of being infected, Gyeong-su reacts and tells her that he is not.
Even though Gyeong-su tries his best to make them understand that he is not infected, skepticism remains. Hence, to prove that he is not infected, he goes to the next room so that when the virus makes him a zombie, the others can be safe. However, Na-yeon, in the pretence of asking for an apology, infects Gyeong-su with the zombie’s blood from the stick.
She does it because she did not like Gyeong-su and wanted to prove herself right. Her inhumanity truly leaves a lasting impact on the viewers. This episode perfectly captures the aspects of human nature during times of difficulty.
On the other hand, even though Na-yeon was wronged by their teacher, Ms. Park protected her.
3) Episode 4

This episode in All of Us Are Dead season 1 is yet another intriguingly creative episode. Especially from the perspective of fighting against the zombies in numerous creative ways.
The episode starts by showing Byeong-chan telling that there is a cure, the details of which are present in his laptop. On the other hand, at the school, Eun-ji tries to protect herself. Gwi-nam, the school bully, recorded a video of her, which he scheduled to post online. She tries to prevent the video from leaking. She was bitten, but she did not turn into a zombie. This episode shows us how Oh-joo’s father tries to save the people, risking his life.
This episode is filled with intense thrill and suspense. Especially when Cheong-san and Su-hyeok try to collect a working mobile phone to call for help and evacuation. Cheong-san and Gwin-nam’s encounter starts off in this episode. Gwi-nam tries to tie their school Principal because he told him to bring his car. Cheong-san saw this and threatened him that he would inform the police.
Though initially, Gwi-nam gets scared, after Cheong-san disrespects him for his bullying, he kills the Principal.
4) Episode 6

This episode from this K-drama truly shines bright in depicting the intense aspect of the zombie apocalypse and the friend group’s desire to be safe.
After Cheing-san gets separated from the group and gets caught up with Gwi-nam, things take an unexpected turn. Though Cheong-san thinks that Gwi-nam got infected after getting bitten, it is not the case. He comes out of the zombie bite with his consciousness intact, and the virus does not affect him. However, his inhuman nature still remains. He becomes enraged towards Cheong-san and decides to kill him.
On the other hand, Su-hyeok and the others find out that the zombies react to sound. So, they plan an escape. They decide to lure the zombies to one end of the corridor. So, they can escape from the other.
However, their plan is not successful, and they get chased by the zombies. While running from the zombies, Su-hyeon comes across Gwi-nam, who tells him to reveal Cheong-san’s location. They start to fight, but Nam-ra saves him. Gwi-nam bites Nam-ra, and Su-hyeon throws him out the window.
This episode is filled with numerous intriguing moments that keep the viewers hooked. The craftsmanship of this episode and the realistic depiction of the scenes truly leave a lasting impact on the viewers.
5) Episode 7

This episode of All of Us Are Dead season 1 truly resonates deeply with the viewers because of the manner in which the students plan to escape the music room. Even though they are just high school students, their survival instincts and creativity are truly remarkable.
They decide to use the zombies' attraction towards music to their advantage. They form a high barricade in the room and plan to escape using the other end. As they escape the room and run towards the top of the building in order to find safety, they face numerous challenges. However, even though they reach the top, the door is locked by Kim Cheol-soo.
As the group bangs on the door, trying to open it, he does not open the door for them. The helicopter arrives on the rooftop, and the military personnel check his body temperature. After Cheol-soo is checked to have a normal body temperature, they evacuate him to the camp. The military personnel keep asking about the other students, but he does not reply.
This episode truly pushes the students' limits as they navigate the dangers of the virus without any help.
6) Episode 9

This episode truly remains a harsh depiction of the problems that can occur during an emergency.
The group faced numerous problems while going up to the rooftop, thinking that they would finally be getting rescued. When the helicopter finally arrives, they are sure that they will be getting rescued.
However, their hopes get crushed immediately. Initially, the military personnel told them they would be rescued after their mission. However, as Eun-ji begins attacking the camp, they understand that some people can be asymptomatic to the virus.
Hence, they discard the thought of rescue and leave the students to fend for themselves. The creative manner in which the storyline is presented in this episode of All of Us Are Dead season 1 is truly remarkable.
7) Episode 12

All of Us Are Dead season 1 episode 12 sets the tone for the upcoming season of this K-drama. As we see the group almost reach safety, they are tested once again when one of their friends ends up getting bitten and turns.
This leaves a lasting impact on the group. As they have been together through such a difficult time, yet when they were almost able to reach safety, they lost one of their friends.
Additionally, Nam-ra’s sacrifice in the end resonates deeply. She understands that she is not safe for them. She might feel hungry and attack them at any time.
