"Always promised me something big": Owning Manhattan's Jordan M responds to Ryan passing him over for a major project

Owning Manhattan, Season 2, Episode 2 featured a launch event. It was for Ryan's 200 Amsterdam project. He hired Corcoran Group's Peter as the sales director.

However, agents from SERHANT were not happy with Ryan's decision. They learned about it at the launch event itself. One of the real estate agents, Jordan M, talked about how he felt after learning about Ryan's decision.

Jordan M noted that he had been expecting new projects and listings to work on from Ryan. However, what happened was absolutely unexpected for him.

"Right now, I'm pretty pissed off because Ryan has always promised me something big. The answer always was, 'I just don't have anything this moment.' And then it seems like there's a development that comes, and you tell me you had to go to Corcoran to find somebody to work on that development? Come on now," confessed Jordan M.

Owning Manhattan Season 2: Ryan's decision to have Peter Zaitzeff as the sales director blindsided agents from SERHANT

Owning Manhattan, Season 2, Episode 1, saw Ryan talking about wanting a sales director. For that, he had been trying to get Peter Zaitzeff from the Corcoran group. Despite his tries, Peter had not said yes until now.

Soon, Ryan met Peter for one of his latest projects, which was revealed to be the 200 Amsterdam project. Ryan noted that he had hundreds of millions of dollars in inventory to sell in one building. For that, he shared with the cameras:

"Peter isn't just one of the city's top brokers. He's also one of the kings of new development. He's worked on some of the biggest buildings in Manhattan. He's done over $3 billion in sales. The only problem is he doesn't work at SERHANT. Yet," confessed Ryan.

They went to the 41st floor and explored the property. Later on, Owning Manhattan, Ryan told Peter about hosting a launch event there. He had a chance to talk to Peter after exploring the property.

Ryan confessed to Peter that he had been after him for quite some time.

"The company is about to turn four years old. I want to build something massive. And you're the new development king in this city, man. No one does it better than you. And I want you at SERHANT. What's it gonna take?" asked Ryan.

Peter responded that the company that Ryan had been building was cool and fun. However, he said that he was happy with Corcoran. He recalled establishing relationships over there for the last seven years.

Ryan offered the sales director position to Peter. He told him about his upcoming listings and noted that he needed great people by his side. Peter responded that he would think about it.

Further on Owning Manhattan episode, agents from Serhant attended the launch event.

"I'm feeling like a million bucks. The developers loved my pitch. I don't think it couldn've gone any better. But let's be honest, what's not there to love? I'm the King of Uptown," shared Jordan.

Fellow cast member Jess T confessed to the cameras about Jordan M. She also noted that she had never seen his name on the new development. At the launch event, Ryan introduced Peter Zaitzeff as the new sales director for the 200 Amsterdam project.

Everyone, including agents from SERHANT, was shocked to learn that. Jordan's reaction was:

"You gotta be kidding me. Him?"

The second episode continued the 200 Amsterdam launch event.
