Amazon (well, Prime Video) has finally released the first real sneak peek of Hazbin Hotel Season 2, and boy, is it chaotically fantastic. Collider posted a set of all-new images that drop you right in the middle of the neon-drenched hell-scape of the show, giving us a tease of big character moments and eye-popping backgrounds. With the teaser images already doing rounds and official schedules and dates finalized, the hype around the show is tangible.
Prime has locked in a late October premiere window (October 29, 2025) for Hazbin Hotel Season 2, and the studio hopes that fans will eagerly engage in speculation, memes, and reaction videos right away. If you enjoyed the visual intensity of Hazbin Hotel Season 1, then you can expect the upcoming season to be even more colorful, jam-packed with crazier characters, and a bigger, more boastful Hellaverse.
The vibe of Hazbin Hotel Season 2’s first look
In collaboration with Prime Video, Collider recently revealed eight exclusive snippets from Hazbin Hotel Season 2 that have fans going gaga over the series' whole vibe. It highlights exactly why people are freezing and zooming the frames: a closer look at Charlie plunged into the limelight, an elegant exposure of Lilith against regal tones, and a preview that leaves Sir Pentious in a rather embarrassing position following last season’s climactic cliffhanger.
Backdrops are crowded: imagine more frenzied hotel lobbies, more eccentric inhabitants, and costumes that practically provoke viewers to pause and discover the little jokes and details in the pictures. The set design and props are more layered, suggesting new social groups, politics, and guest arcs in the episodes of Hazbin Hotel’s second season.
What the creator of Hazbin Hotel said in the past!

Previously, Vivienne Medrano, the creator of Hazbin Hotel, claimed that Season 2 received more time, budget, and resources, promising better writing, pacing, and more enhanced animation, all of which naturally creates heightened expectations for fans. At the 2025 San Diego Comic-Con in July, Vivienne Medrano shared:
“With Hazbin Hotel season two, what I’m most excited for people to see is one, the quality of the show on every level has ‘upped’. I think the writing is stronger, I think the pacing is stronger, and we were given a little bit more time so we have more ability to let the story breathe. I think the story of season two is much easier to tell in the time frame we have and I think that the animation has leveled up. We were able to have a little bit of a more experienced team and I think that everyone who worked on it really put their all into it, doing amazing work. Visually, it’s just bigger and I’m so excited and proud of season two. I think it’s better than season one, which I’m still really proud of.”
What to expect when Hazbin Hotel Season 2 lands
By the looks of the images and the creator’s notes, Hazbin Hotel Season 2 is going to be louder and more cinematic. Larger set pieces, more textured backgrounds, and big crowd moments that are all about spectacle and world-building. The dark humor, musical beats, and soap-opera level family drama that are hallmarks of Hazbin Hotel, are bound to take a darker turn, especially with Lilith as a key character.
Better animation most likely means that the action and the choreography will be smoother and more rapid visual gags throughout. With Prime Video releasing the season later this fall on 29th October, and marketing it as a large event, fans can expect watch parties, sing-along screenings, and plenty of meme-worthy material, as well as plenty of surprises and twists sure to keep viewers talking on social media.
