American Ninja Warrior Season 17 co-host Matt Iseman talked about how the races have been "adrenaline-fueled head-to-head races.
For that, he stated that competitors have been taking even bigger risks during the challenges.
"We saw some upsets that you never would've predicted in a million years. And then we saw redemptions that just made your heart swell. So the season was filled with so many highlights and so many incredible moments," he added.
As for Taylor Greene, her performance against Zhanique was quite incredible. Seeing the two getting started in the challenge, Zhanique would have gotten her first-ever buzzer. However, after she couldn't hold the grip on the pole brass mid-way, she slipped off into the water.
On the other hand, seeing Taylor passing each obstacle, she was able to get her fourth buzzer.
"Taylor Green is just setting a new standard for women. She still has not fallen in this season. She's been perfect," show hosts noted.
Witnessing her finishing up to the buzzer, American Ninja Warrior hosts mentioned that she got her place among the 31 athletes. She would be seen competing in the championship, and she would be "scary."
For the fans who might not know, there have been new twists included for the upcoming National Finals. According to that, Ninjas will go through the bracket-style tournament. Hence, they would compete in head-to-head races against their competitors.
In addition to delivering extraordinary performances, Ninjas will now be competing against fellow top Ninjas. Co-host Matt Iseman noted that athletes push each other to become "more aggressive" and more athletic.
