Was Amy Bradley ever found?
Amy Bradley remains missing to this day. More than two decades later, her fate is still shrouded in mystery. Even though chilling theories and scattered sightings suggest she may still be alive. Legally, Amy Bradley was declared dead in 2010.
The SSA declares a person dead if they go missing for seven years or more. However, several people, including her family, true crime enthusiasts, and the directors of the Netflix docu-series, believe she's alive. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, producer Ari Mark noted,
"I’ve kind of gotten to the point where I have to believe she’s alive."
Suspicion, chilling theories, and a mystery that won't fade

From Curacao to Barbados, whispers of Amy's presence were whispered across the Caribbean. However, with every lead came more questions, and the truth to date remains buried deep on the sandy beaches of the Caribbean.
On March 21, 1998, Amy Lynn Bradley, along with her family, boarded the Royal Caribbean cruise, and what was meant to be an exciting vacation turned into a disaster when, two nights later, Amy disappeared. As per her father, she was last spotted around 5:30 am on the cabin balcony. After extensive search efforts conducted by the ship, FBI intervention, and global media coverage, not a single confirmed sighting of Amy has surfaced.
One of the most chilling unconfirmed sighting reports came from a Canadian man named David Carmichael in August 1998. He claimed that he saw a woman resembling Amy on a beach in Curacao, with a Tasmanian Devil tattoo (similar to what Amy had). He believed she was trying to speak to him before two men led her away.
Previously, when Amy's father and brother went to Curacao to search for her in April 1998, a local cab driver noted that he saw someone who looked quite similar to Amy.
Another account comes from a Navy veteran who met a distressed woman in a bar/brothel in 1999, claiming to be Amy, saying she had been taken after leaving the cruise ship to get drugs. In 2005, a woman in Barbados said a girl who called herself Amy looked terrified in a public restroom.
Then came a chilling tip: an anonymous email with a link to a sex worker site featuring a woman who looked exactly like Amy. The FBI confirmed the photo bore a strong resemblance.
Hope lives on
Even after two and a half decades, Amy Bradley's family has never stopped looking for her. They made a website called amybradleyismissing.com to track IP addresses that regularly visit the page from Curacao and Barbados during birthdays and holidays. They firmly believe these digital footprints could be Amy trying to reach out. But there's a catch - the FBI can't trace foreign IPs due to jurisdictional limits.
Amy's family believes that she is still alive, as her hopeful mother utters 'Maybe today' frequently. Her father still maintains her car, and her brother echoes the feeling that not having closure is what keeps hopes alive.
There have been certain theories about Amy Bradley's disappearance as well. Initially, some believed that the cruise' musician, Alister Douglas, was responsible for her disappearance, since Amy was seen with him in the club the night she disappeared. The FBI found no evidence against him.
However, in the docuseries, his daughter Amicia revealed that she's quite doubtful of her father's doings. She further noted that her father was quite distant when he returned from the cruise and had a bag full of snaps of white women.
