Amy clashing with Amanda during Tammy’s surgery was the worst sister move on 1000-lb Sisters

I was shocked when I watched the 1000-lb Sisters episode 7, where Amy and Amanda fought during Tammy’s surgery. I am a longtime fan of the show, and I've always appreciated the sisters' relationship, especially when times are tough. The way Amy and Amanda fought at such a key moment just seemed unexpected and depressing to watch.

To my way of thinking, the tension from Tammy’s surgery brought the underlying tensions that had been brewing to the surface. Family dynamics are always complex, and stressful situations often tend to reveal underlying issues or crack open something. Amy and Amanda had a difference of opinion about the best way to help Tammy during her recovery and got into a brawl.

This incident brought to light the psychological toll that medical emergencies may have on families. Since every family member handles these situations differently, I believe it's critical to treat them with compassion and understanding. I'm hoping Amy and Amanda can work things out and keep helping Tammy together in spite of their disagreement. Tammy's welfare is, after all, their common objective, and cooperation is essential to overcoming the obstacles that lie ahead.

Amy’s outburst in 1000-lb Sisters Season 7 Episode 7 felt like a betrayal when Tammy needed unity the most

Tammy underwent skin removal surgery on the most recent episode of 1000-lb Sisters. But at home, her sisters were fighting over bizarre matters. The timing of Amy's argument with Amanda during Tammy's skin removal procedure was even more distressing to me.

After years of health issues, 1000-lb Sisters' Tammy was finally getting surgery, which was a significant milestone in her quest for transformation. This, in my opinion, called for complete family support rather than conflict. But rather than standing together for Tammy, Amy let her feelings rule her, turning the attention from her sister's welfare to her own annoyances.

Amanda was doing what she normally does, which is to be straightforward and considerate when she shows up for Tammy. Although Amanda can be direct at times, I believe she frequently strikes a balance between passion and reason, which is essential when someone's health is at stake.

The argument between 1000-lb Sisters further heated up when Amy got too upset about Amanda reacting to her actions and walking away. When Amy got emotional during her confession and opened up about how she always feels targeted by her family, it felt like a call for attention to me.

Seeing Amy, who has always positioned herself as Tammy's closest supporter, now become the focus of the drama was perhaps what hurt the most. After everything they've been through on 1000-lb Sisters, it seemed to me that she had regressed in her emotional maturity. The least her sisters could have done was stay composed and be there for Tammy throughout her major surgery, which was fraught with danger. Amy left, worsening the situation despite Amanda's best efforts to defuse the situation.

After becoming a mother and going through her own struggles, I thought she had moved past this type of emotional response. I hope this tragedy serves as a wake-up call for Tammy. Instead of more confusion, she needs the support of her sisters. And as someone who actually cheers for this family, I hope Amy understands how important it is to maintain perspective in times of crisis like this.
