Rebel operative Cassian Andor is going all out in Season 2 of the hit Star Wars spin-off series Andor. Episodes 7, 8, and 9 of the season will premiere on Disney+ on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 9 PM ET/6 PM PT. The second season of the show follows Cassian Andor (played by Diego Luna) and the Rebel Alliance setting out on a path to bring down the Empire. Meanwhile, the Imperial officers are working on creating the destructive Death Star.

Andor Season 2 comprises 12 episodes in total, which are divided into four arcs with three episodes airing every week. The series is a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which will lead into Star Wars Episode IV—A New Hope. The critically acclaimed show is exclusively available on the streaming platform Disney+.

What to expect in Andor Season 2?

Cassian Andor is working for the rebel movement with Luthen Rael (played by Stellan Skarsgård). All eyes are on Ghorman, which the Empire is using to extract the minerals needed to make the Death Star. Mon Mothma (played by Genevieve O'Reilly) is getting restless with politics as she continues to work with the underground rebel movement. Imperial power-hungry couple Dedra Meero (played by Denise Gough) and Syril Karn (Kyle Soller) are also making waves with their new findings in the rebel rising in Ghorman.

The series will lead up to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
