Cutthroat Kitchen: Knives Out Episode 7: The competition gets intense as Cheftestants get into a bidding war
The latest Cutthroat Kitchen: Knives Out Episode 7 featured a friendly bidding among the Cheftestants. It started after Brian Malarkey announced his new "auction" twist in the episode.
He mentioned that any of the Cheftestants can get their hands on his personal collection of pots and pans. However, for that, they would be bidding from their given amounts. Each of the Cheftestants had $25,000 with them. Using them, they could bid and win the collection.
Listening to Brian, one of the Cheftestants, Zakari confessed that he already had his "game plan." He added that he didn't need any more of them, so for that reason, he was "already out." He had his $25,000 unspent.
"I already have my game plan going. I have pots and pans at this point, it's not gonna do anything for me, so I'm already out," confessed Zakari.
Listening to Brian Malarkey's announcement about the pots and pans collection, some of the other cast members were also thinking about it. One of the cheftestants, Star, wanted to spice things up with the auction. She knew that her fellow cheftestant Shibhumi was interested in getting the pots and pans.
So she wanted to get into the auction and try to make Shibhumi spend some money.
"I see the desperation in Shibhumi's eyes. So I'm gonna give her a little run for the money," confessed Star.
Shibhumi started the bidding at $500. Seeing her starting the bid, Star also jumped in with $600 as the starting bid. Shibhumi bid $700.
"$1,000," announced Star.
Listening to the two cheftestants getting into the bidding war, Brian Malarkey was excited. As he went ahead with Star's bidding of 12,000, Shibhumi seemed to be dropping out of the bidding.
