The hit comedy series found Yancy dealing with a bunch of oddballs and a bad monkey in Florida in his attempts to redeem himself in the Miami Police Department by proving and solving a murder.Season 2 of the hit comedy series is set to be an original story, not based on Carl Hiaasen's novel, but partly "influenced" by the author's works.
