Based on Isaac Asimov's famous novels, Foundation is a science fiction series available on Apple TV+. It centers on mathematician Hari Seldon, who foretells the fall of a massive galactic empire in the far future.

Seldon establishes a Foundation to protect human knowledge in order to lessen the chaos. Political intrigue, empire growth and decline, and the intricate relationship between science, power, and fate are all explored in the series.

The show is renowned for its elaborate storyline and vast world-building, and it has an ensemble cast that includes Lou Llobell, Lee Pace, and Jared Harris. A third season has been confirmed, while the second season debuted in 2023.

The complex plots and mysteries that have been established during the last two seasons of Foundation will inevitably intensify as the show enters its third season. There are a number of important concerns that must be answered since the galaxy's future is at stake, along with new alliances and formidable adversaries. The following five crucial queries need to be addressed in Season 3:

What is Demerzel’s true agenda?

Demerzel has had a vital part in molding the Empire's fate, although her motivations are unknown. For millennia, she has influenced the Cleon dynasty as a practically immortal figure endowed with enormous power.

With the Genetic Dynasty in decline and the Empire's hold on the galaxy dwindling, the question arises: Is Demerzel still loyal to the Empire, or has she become the actual monarch behind the throne? If she is tugging the strings, what vision does she have for the galaxy's future?

Where will the First Foundation go after the destruction of Terminus?

The First Foundation has nowhere to live after Terminus was destroyed in Season 2, and there is still hope for their survival, nevertheless. This is mainly because of the survivors on board Hari Seldon's Vault.

Although the Vault has the ability to travel through space, the true issue is: Where will they go after this? Will they continue to float through space in search of a place to rebuild, or will they discover a new planet to settle? The Foundation's next course of action will be greatly influenced by the response to this question.

How will the two versions of Hari Seldon interact?

Two versions of Hari Seldon: the electronic "Vault Hari" and the biological "Knife Hari", both mainly see psychohistory differently, and as per the storyline, their conflicting goals might lead to serious conflict.

Whether these two Seldons will cooperate for the benefit of the galaxy or clash over divergent visions for its future is the key question. In the next season, their relationships will be very important.

Can the Cleonic Dynasty survive in Foundation season 3, or is it doomed?

Once thought to be the unshakeable backbone of the Empire, the Cleonic Dynasty is beginning to deteriorate, and the dynasty's future is questionable. Who will be in charge going forward might be determined by the outcome of the Cleonic Dynasty, which could completely alter the Empire's power structure.

What is the significance of the Mule’s connection to Gale?

One of the most fascinating mysteries of the story is the relationship between Gale and the Mule, a powerful metallic warlord who has shown a particular interest in her. Is the Mule's obsession only psychological, or is there a deeper connection between them? Determining the true nature of their connection might have significant implications for the future of the galaxy.
