What is the release date of WondLa Season 2?
Apple TV dropped the trailer for WondLa Season 2, which will be released globally on April 25, 2025. Like its predecessor, Season 2 will also feature seven episodes, each running for half an hour. It will continue the story of Eva Nine, a curious teenager whose sophomore season journey will be even more dangerous and high-stakes.
Season 1 followed Eva Nine, a teenager suddenly transported to a strange planet on her 16th birthday. The planet is only inhabited by aliens and strange fauna. Eva Nine is on a quest to find human life and her home, and is accompanied by many companions. The season ended with Eva falling off a cliff.
What do we know about WondLa Season 2 from the trailer?
The Season 2 trailer seems to pick up right after the cliffhanger of Season 1, where Eva Nine finally finds human life and is welcomed into a new planet enriched with human life. But all is not what it seems, as she soon finds herself amid life-changing revelations and sacrifices.
While the idea of a new home looks promising to Eva nine, she soon discovers Eva eight, and meets a powerful force who seeks her for something extraordinary.
According to the Apple TV's press release for Season 2:
''Picking up from season one’s shocking cliff-hanger, Eva is drawn toward the promise of home — but new discoveries only lead to more unanswered questions.''
As promised, Season 2 will be even more dangerous and adventurous for Eva nine:
''In a season brimming with revelations, sacrifice and an existential fight for survival, Eva must choose where she truly belongs.''
While Eva Nine will finally find a place she can call home, she will have to learn its true meaning. WondLa Season 2 will feature our protagonist's actual coming-of-age.
