The Stranger Things cast answers "the 50 most Googled" questions

While Stranger Things Season 5 Part 1 is already streaming on Netflix, we understand if you need a quick recap about the biggest sci-fi saga on television right now. Between the frustratingly long gaps between seasons, rapidly opening portals, favorite character deaths and jaw-dropping twists, it's hard to keep up.

That is why the series cast participated in an exciting segment with WIRED, where they answered "the 50 most Googled" questions about the Duffer Brothers' masterpiece.

While the questions started pretty basic, inquiring about the show's timeline, setting and major characters, they soon went quite specific. The Stranger Things cast naturally did not spoil the final season for the fans, but answered all the questions in a fun segment.

The segment also included some intriguing questions that have been plaguing the minds of all Stranger Things fans for a long time.

Stranger Things Season 5 Part 1 answers many burning questions and features a big twist

Among "the 50 most Googled" questions about Stranger Things, some of them are directly answered in the recently released Volume 1 of the final season. As the Duffer Brothers and the show's cast teased, the Wheeler family, especially Holly, was at the centre of action in Season 5. One of the frequently googled questions includes:

''Why did Vecna let Nancy live?''

This shocking incident had direct ties with the final season as Nancy reveals how she had visions about her family falling prey to the evil Vecna. While she tried to warn Mike and the gang about these visions and relocate the Wheeler family out of Hawkins, they did not pay heed to her requests, until Vecna opened a portal in the Wheeler house to kidnap Holly to the Upside Down.

Stranger Things Season 5 Part 1 also lays out Vecna's master plan to build his army of 12 children, who will become his vessels to refashion the world. Since children are innocent and can be shaped easily, Vecna aims to use them to his own advantage, as he did with Will in the Fall of 1983.

The first volume of the final season concludes with Vecna's success, as his demogorgons manage to grab 12 children to the Upside Down through multiple portals. However, in a jaw-dropping twist, Will realises that his sinister connection to Vecna and the hive mind gives him mind-controlling powers and he kills three demogorgons through his newly realized psychic powers, setting up an exciting Volume 2.

Stranger Things Season 5 Part 2 will arrive on Netflix on December 25 and Part 3 on December 31.
