Bad Thoughts cast and character: Who plays whom in Netflix's new series

Bad Thoughts, the Black comedy series, was released on Netflix on 13th May 2025. The show is created by stand-up comedian Tom Segura and blends sketch comedy with individual stories. Since the show does not have a central plot, only sketches, the cast members do not play roles throughout the show. Tom Segura, the creator and protagonist, is the only cast member who remains constant, while the others appear in certain episodes.

Bad Thoughts stars Tom Segura in many roles across the episodes, playing a range of characters. Daniella Pineda plays Mrs. King, a mysterious woman who appears in one of the show's darker sketches.

Other cast members include Robert Iler as Evan, Arnold Chun as Byung Sung, Alexis Abrams as Emily, Kirk Fox as Roger, and Alexandra Chando as Kerri Sorenson. Shea Whigham, Ryan Sickler, Christina Pazsitzky, and Bobby Lee are also part of the supporting cast.

The creative team behind the series includes Tom Segura as creator and executive producer. Other executive producers are Jeremy Konner, Rami Hachache, Ryan Hall, Molly Mandel, Craig Gerard, and Matthew Zinman. The show is produced by Segura’s own media company, YMH Studios.

What makes the show stand out is its structure. Instead of one central story, the show is split into different sketches, like a collection of short stories with a dark sense of humor. As the show's title suggests, the series revolves around the bad thoughts human beings have.
