As the Christmas season is just around the corner, the BBC is bringing forth an intriguing schedule for its TV shows. It cannot be denied that these TV shows have already been bringing forth interesting episodes.

However, in the holiday season, special episodes are always something the viewers eagerly wait for. These episodes often include snippets of the holiday moments, which enhance the overall appeal of these TV shows.


BBC Christmas 2025 TV Schedule

The Traitors season 4 is definitely something that the viewers are looking forward to this holiday season on the BBC. The series will drop on January 1, at 8 pm, after The Night Manager drops its second season. For the movie lovers, Christmas Day will be dropping The Scarecrows' Wedding movie, which is animated. This movie will air at 3:10 PM.

Annual festivals in TV shows are always something to look forward to. Hence, the new festival of Strictly Come Dancing, which arrives on the same day at 5:30 PM, will definitely be a great addition to the BBC Christmas lineup. Yet another festival special of The Wheel will drop on this day. The timing for the drop is at 6:45 PM. The day is definitely packed with an intriguing lineup. It cannot be denied that this year, the BBC is setting the standards high with its lineup.

The King's Speech is something many viewers are eager to watch as the holiday season is coming up. Christmas Day becomes the day for this event, just as always. The timing for King Charles’ Yuletide address is at 3 PM, which will be airing on BBC One. Wild London, which will bring life to the exploration of wildlife, will be hosted by Sir David Attenborough.

It is also part of the BBC lineup. It will air on January 1 at 6:30 PM. The Motherland spinoff, Amandaland, is arriving with an interesting Christmas Special episode. This comedy series will be joined by Jennifer Saunders for the special episode. The timing for this episode of Amandaland will be at 9:15 PM.

Sanders will be helming the role of Aunt Joan. Sanders, while speaking about the special episode of this series, admitted that she is “delighted” to join the “fabulous Amandaland gang for a Christmas special.” It cannot be denied that her words definitely add to the overall intrigue that the viewers had towards the new episode of the series.

Sanders also added that playing “Joanna’s on-screen sister” will definitely bring forth “a laugh”. Punch added that this special episode of Christmas will be “an absolute cracker”. Her words further fan the fire of anticipation amongst the viewers. Yet another comedy gem, Mrs. Brown's Boys will be bringing forth a special episode for Christmas.

The timing for Mrs. Brown’s Boys Christmas Special will be at 10:15 PM. The day is going to be definitely booked and busy for the viewers. The next episode of Mrs. Brown’s Boys is all set to arrive on New Year’s Day at 10:05 PM.

Before Christmas Day, Guz Khan’s Stuffed will be dropping on December 23 at 9 PM. BBC One becomes the platform where Stuffed will be aired. The Graham Norton Show will be dropping at 10:30 PM on New Year’s Eve. The lineup this year is truly making us anticipate our favorites that are going to drop.
