We also get to see Sepideh Moafi as Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi, who arrived at Pitt as Robby's replacement while he went on a short sabbatical. That is what Robby thought was the case, and that was the initial plan, but we soon see Dr. Al-Hashimi say,"I have ideas for improving the department."But soon, a patient comes to the ER, who is frantic, in restraints, probably still in shock, and wants to be let out. Robby asks Dr. Al-Hashimi if she still wants to share her ideas after seeing the various kinds of patients one has to deal with at the Pitt. The trailer also shows that Dr. Frank Langdon will be coming back to the Pitt after spending time away in rehabilitation for his drug addiction. When he arrives, he is asked by Robby to help Donnie with Triage, which surprises him. Before he can ask anything, Robby says the rest of the residents and interns will cover for him, and says,"We've been doing it for months."Robby is still dealing with some of his past trauma, and the situation at the Pitt worsens on the fourth of July, which is already known for being an extremely busy time. Westbridge Hospital shuts down all its computer systems, and soon, we see that The Pitt is next. The Pitt now has to run without its computers, which is almost a nightmare for the medical staff on an already busy day. We also see Robby telling Dr. Al-Hashimi that the Emergency department is not for the faint of heart, but she is determined and asks what's needed from her. The Pitt Season 2 trailer ends on the note that the staff at the Pitt has to handle multiple casualties on this fifteen-hour work shift, while not having access to the computers.
