During The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 3 Reunion, the host turned to Mikayla and Jace and asked them to shine light on their struggles. She was referring to Mikayla being vulnerable from the show's recent season.

A few clips from the show's recent season showed Mikayla sharing about her past and the abuse she went through:

"I feel like I've made a lot of strides with my past sexual abuse. But, as far as the intimacy issue, I feel like it's the one area that I haven't been able to progress at all," confessed Mikayla.

In another confession, Jace talked about how important intimacy was for him in a relationship:

"Intimacy for me is really important. It's like a deal breaker."

The host asked Mikayla how it felt after learning that not having intimacy was an issue for Jace. While answering, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Mikayla got emotional. She took a minute before she could answer the question.

She noted that it had still been very fresh for her and that she had been working through it. Mikayla also noted that Jace had been very patient with her regarding the same.

Seeing her getting emotional, Jace also shared his thoughts and noted that she had been amazing and:

"I think that she's handling it better than I could have in her situation," added Jace.

Mikayla talked about the issues with her body and that she had just delivered a baby.

"And then after having the baby, it's like my health stuff, it all came back 180 over night, and then for him it's still hard 'coz we're still having intimacy issues, and like, I don't know how to overcome, and I think that's what's hard," shared Mikayla.

The host noted that Jessi got emotional while listening to Mikayla's struggles regarding intimacy.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star responded that she loved watching Mikayla's story play out on the show. She was aware of the issues, but witnessing it play out on the show and learning Mikayla's thoughts and feelings made her emotional. Jessi also talked about going through therapy with Jordan.
