"Been here my whole life" - Love and Marriage: Huntsville star Jaylin opens up about potential job and moving to Colorado

Love and Marriage: Huntsville Season 10 Episode 3 aired on August 2, 2025. The latest episode of the reality show titled, Maur or Less the Favorite, saw a conversation between Jaylin and Maurice.

They talked about Jaylin's work, interviews, his work in the IT field, a potential move to Colorado, and more. Maurice also asked him about family business, which turned into a wholly different topic. Jaylin opened up about how he felt being treated differently compared to how Maurice's son, Monster, was treated.

While talking about a potential job, for which Jaylin might be moving to Colorado, he told Maurice:

"Yeah man, yeah. I want kinda... something a little a little new. I've been here my whole life. Been here with my mama my whole life. So, I'm just trying to figure out... I don't know, a new path."

The third episode of Love and Marriage: Huntsville Season 10 saw a conversation between Jaylin and Maurice. While playing pool, Maurice asked how Jaylin had been. He said he was working and had a few things to go through.

Maurice asked him how his job transition was going, and asked about his interest. Jaylin talked about his interest in IT, and a job interview for a placement in Colorado.

"You know I'm doing IT work now. IT specialist. But, I've been applying to a bunch of different jobs, you know. And one job actually, reached back and said they wanted to do an interview, and the job is actually in Colorado," said Love and Marriage: Huntsville star Jaylin.

Maurice said he learned about that from Kimmi, and that Jaylin was "really considering" leaving. He responded that he was trying to figure out a "new path."

Listening to Jaylin talk about "finding a new path," Love and Marriage: Huntsville star Maurice asked him if leaving would help him. In response, he said he didn't know as he was also trying to "figure out."

Later, Maurice mentioned their family business and that he and Kimmi talked about it. He asked Jaylin his thoughts on business. Fans must remember that Jaylin is Maurice's stepson, and he and Kimmi also share a son, Monster.

Opening up about how he felt, Jaylin said he was hesitant. The reason was because of how he had treated him. He mentioned how he was always being told to "pick up" Monster and run errands.

"Y'all give... well, not y'all, you. You give Moster the same leash, or... not leash... I can't get the word... like leniency... Growing up when me and him (Monster) both were in the house, you would always come ask me to do the things. And I'm sitting there like... Your son's sitting right here playing video games, just like I am, I mean, like, I didn't really like that, you know, too much."

In his private confession, Maurice talked about parenting each child differently. When he asked Jaylin if he felt "loved less" than he loved Monster, he said yes, and mentioned how he was not his "actual flesh and blood."
