Big Brother Season 27 Episode 14 Recap: A blindsiding decision followed by a shocking elimination

Big Brother Season 27 Episode 14 aired on August 7, 2025. The latest episode featured multiple shocking events, including an unexpected elimination. Witnessing Mickey, the current Head of Household, choosing Jimmy as the replacement nominee shocked fellow housemates.

Jimmy was blindsided when she revealed her decision. Later, the BB Blockbuster challenge saw nominated housemates competing to save themselves. While Rylie saved himself, Kelley and Jimmy were still in danger.

The latest Big Brother episode saw Jimmy going home after a shocking twist of events where nine housemates voted to evict him.

Big Brother Season 27 Episode 14 Recap: Unexpected replacement nominee selection resulted in Jimmy's eviction

The previous Big Brother Season 27 episode ended with Keanu removing himself from the nominees list. As a result, the current Head of Household (HoH), Mickey, had to choose a replacement nominee. After careful consideration, she chose Jimmy. As a result, the final three nominees for the upcoming elimination were: Rylie, Jimmy, and Kelley.

HoH Mickey's decision to put up Jimmy for the nominations sparked a sense of shock among housemates. Her allies, including Ashley, Rachel, and Will, did not understand why she chose Jimmy. They thought she did it after discussing it with Vince and Morgan. After Jimmy learned HoH's plan, he was in shock.

Initially, he did not know how things unfolded, and he was chosen as the replacement nominee. Nominated housemates participated in the BB Blockbuster challenge, Safe Crackers.

For that, they were supposed to get the balls via a maze and take them to the designated area. Whoever would complete it first would win the BB Blockbuster challenge. Rylie won, and he saved himself from the upcoming nomination.

After Big Brother housemate Rylie won, Jimmy and Kelley were up for the nomination. Before that happened, Rachel discussed with fellow housemates Ava, Ashley, and Will. She mentioned that they should try and save Jimmy while eliminating Kelley. But Ava said Jimmy didn't have enough votes.

Before the live elimination, Kelley and Jimmy shared why they wanted to stay in the house. While Kelley talked about being good enough for the game, and housemates would choose her, Jimmy talked about his family members. He got emotional as he recalled his dream and asked housemates to save him from the elimination.

Episode 14 further saw the majority of housemates voting to eliminate Jimmy. This included Rylie, Morgan, Katherine, Keanu, Vince, Zach, Ava, Lauren, and Will. It was Rachel and Ashley who voted to send Kelley Home.

"I vote to evict Kelley. I don't know. Shout out mom, dad, everybody, I don't know what am I doing," said Ashley.

As Ashley left the Diary Room, she saw Will. The two had a brief conversation. She rushed to change her vote and said:

"I'm so sorry, I messed up. I vote to evict Jimmy. I' so sorry I messed up. Jimmy. Sorry."

However, she was denied to change her vote. Seeing that, Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves' reaction was:

"No, no, no, no."

As a result, with 9 votes, Jimmy was evicted from the show. As he stepped out of the house, he learned that Katherine didn't vote to save him. It was a shocking thing for him. However, he mentioned that it was Morgan for how things unfolded.
