Pluribus's viewers have good news, as an excerpt from the famous book of the series Bloodsong of Wycaro is now available to read for the viewers on Apple Books. Created by Vince Gilligan, the Apple TV series features Rhea Seehorn, Karolina Wydra, and Carlos-Manuel Vesga in the main lead.

The sci-fi series revolves around a world where most people join one shared mind, while Carol, the main character, is one of the few who stay separate. The official synopsis of Pluribus on Apple TV reads:

"The most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness."

The show has earned its place in the entertainment industry with an IMDb rating of 8.8. With an excerpt from the show's book, Bloodsong of Wycaro, now out, viewers also get a chance to explore its story in real life.

Where can you read Bloodsong of Wycaro from Pluribus?

Bloodsong of Wycaro from Pluribus is now available digitally on Apple Books. The fictional romance book, written by Carol Sturka and played by Rhea Seehorn in the series, can be read for free. However, it's important to remember that Apple has shared only a special excerpt for now, while the full book isn't out yet.

The book was officially released on November 14 on the site and is available in English language. The excerpt is eleven pages long, giving readers a short but clear look at the story.

The official publisher description on Apple Books reads:

"Ahoy, lucky readers… the winds of Wycaro blow once again! Best-selling author Carol Sturka gifts readers an exclusive excerpt from the newly released fourth book in her epic romantasy trilogy. This book contains a full chapter of the novel Bloodsong of Wycaro, along with a special letter from Carol."

The description of the book further gives details about the story:

"Take sail with Lucasia, Captain of the duneship Mercator, as she traverses the amaranthine sands of Wycaro seeking a cure for the insidious illness felling her crew. As Lucasia navigates a treacherous storm, she is haunted by memories of Raban, the rogue who stole her heart before walking the plank. Seething with passions which cry for release, she soon learns the only thing worse than finding yourself alone in the dark…is discovering you’re not alone."

Why is Bloodsong of Wycaro from Pluribus of importance?

In the first episode of Pluribus, Carol, the main character of the series, says that Raban, the main male love interest in her book, was originally supposed to be a woman.

The creator of the show, Vince Gilligan, speaking of Carol's career, told Deadline:

"At the end of the day, no matter how much she may grumble, she loves her fans, but then as soon as an event like that book signing [is] over, she just wants a drink. That's probably based on me: She just wants to be quiet for a while and then just have a Manhattan."

While this digital book has come as a surprise for the show's viewers, it's a smart move by Apple TV+. Since not many shows do this, Apple has grabbed the opportunity to offer something different, making viewers' experiences feel more unique and giving viewers an extra piece of the story to enjoy beyond the series.
