With the release of BMF Season 4 on June 6, 2025, the crime drama series has enthralled viewers with a variety of twists and turns. Created by Randy Huggins, BMF or Black Mafia Family, is a thriller show about drug trafficking and money laundering. It is based on a real story and revolves around two brothers, who rose from the streets of Detroit in the late 1980s and became the owners of one of the most influential crime families in America.
The two brothers are Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “southwest T” Flenory. With Demetrius’ charisma and Terry’s business acumen, the brothers foray into the drug world and even explore other avenues like hip hop. Demtrius Flenory Jr. plays Demetrius in the show and Da’Vinchi plays Terry. BMF is one of the few shows that showcases the history of Black people and their involvement in the mafia.
In BMF Season 4 Episode 7, the brothers are surrounded by problems, especially Demetrius and he must find a way to get out of it.
BMF Season 4 Episode 7 recap and ending explained
Demetrius is hounded by detective Bryant and problems in St. Louis consume Demetrius’ time. Even his musical ambitions are in trouble and therefore, he must solve things as soon as possible. One of the major problems is J-Pusha, who is the friend-turned-enemy. J-Pusha backstabs and causes violence, which stops BMF from working in St. Louis and causes huge losses for the organization. On the other hand, even J-Pusha is annoyed with Demetrius and ends up ordering the death of innocent people who are related to his adversary, the Seal Moors. One of the victims is Keeya’s sister and she decides to get revenge on J-Pusha.
However, Keeya has a long history with J-Pusha, who took care of her when her father died. And she is dating Carter, who is J-Pusha’s right-hand man. Keeya is hesitant to kill the man who killed her sister and even though Demetrius arrives in time and saves her, Carter ends up killing his boss and J-Pusha is finally out of the way. Now, BMF can work with Seal Moor and Keeya becomes the envoy.
Further, Demetrius’ record company Stomping Grounds continues to suffer as Purdy, the R&B singer and rapper was involved in a shootout that put her in a hospital in BMF Season 4. This incident was caused by her previous record label who were angry that she went to the Flenory brothers. While Purdy survives, she is still traumatized and she gets addicted to cocaine. Even though her friend Tina advises Purdy to not take drugs, she finds Purdy at the studio unconscious due to an overdose. Tina sends Purdy to a rehab center and Tina also has to deal with pregnancy. While Demetrius takes Tina to an abortion clinic, he also visits Purdy at the rehab center, however, Purdy has already checked out of the place.
Even Demetrius and Terry are not on good terms after their Mexico trip and Terry is worried about the finances. Therefore, he resorts to a high-profile gambling den in Vegas. Terry and Markisha arrive at Imani’s den and Terry begins to win big. One of the players, Tank, does not want to settle the game’s score and Markisha charms Tank’s wife and gets his address. Further, Demetrius and Terry have an argument over Demtrius asking Nicole to smuggle some cash. Markisha tells Terry to get the money from Tank and attack him in his house.
The ending of BMF Season 4 Episode 7
Detective Bryant is hot on the tail of the Flenory brothers in BMF Season 4 and due to an informant, he stakes out the house of a person of interest. The person shows unusual behavior and Bryant has to fight a lot to get a search warrant. Eventually he does and is able to arrest the man and also search his grandmother’s house. The detective finds two packages of cocaine and he applies pressure on the young man he has arrested. Bryant even tells the grandmother that she will be imprisoned if she does not help. Ultimately, the young man breaks down and decides to get into a deal and get his freedom at the cost of Demetrius’ incrimination.
