Boston Blue episode 9 delivered one of the most chaotic episodes of the season. The series took audiences on an emotional rollercoaster as families were falling apart. The decisions made led to unfavorable consequences, and achieving justice seemed a difficult battle.

The episode focused on the Silver family's worst nightmare coming to life. Ronan Flaherty was freed from prison even after the one who killed their father. The District Attorney Mae Silver had no option in this case, as a corrupt assistant district attorney had manipulated the case.

The judge gave his verdict, and Mae watched Flaherty leave the courtroom with a smirk, and her heart shattered.

Every member of the family reacted differently to the verdict. Sarah was adamant about building a new case immediately, and Lena was still on her current investigation. However, Jonah took a different route and spiraled into anger. His outrage took over him entirely, and that led to new conflicts.

Meanwhile, Danny Reagan had to encounter his own crossroads. The Boston Police Department offered him a permanent position. The position from the NYPD would shift to permanent paperwork.

That new position did not excite him. Additionally, he had spent his whole life in New York, but Boston was out of his comfort zone. However, the only saving grace was his partner, Sean, who was now doing much better.

Boston Blue Episode 9 displayed the Silver family falling apart. The Shabbat dinner at the family was a witness to Jonah's anger. He projected it all onto his mother and Sarah as she discovered the corrupt ADA first. Jonah's words were difficult and troubling. He claimed that their father would never betray Mae's memory. Mae's face displayed a lot of pain, and the family dinner fell apart.

Jonah was not in control of his emotions, and he switched patrol routes with other officers as he wanted to get near Bromley-Heath.

That is where Flaherty was residing presently, and Jonah wanted to scare him and make him feel that he was being watched. However, the stalking plan did not work as Flaherty was not scared at all.

The confrontation took place outside the bakery, and Sean went inside to get something, and Jonah saw a chance and threw the first punch. Flaherty's guys rushed to save him immediately and beat up Jonah in a bad manner.

Sean heard the noise of the violence and rushed to save Jonah, but the group escaped. Although Sean did not file any report against the fight, someone else did.

As the story progresses, Sarah's original theory proves to be incorrect. She thought Flaherty killed her father over a former prison sentence, but the real reason turns out to be that Flaherty worked with the Red Saints.

They were an operating Irish Mob in Boston, and someone powerful was backing them up with money. Someone was protecting them from imprisonment. The conspiracy got more intense and tangled than anyone imagined.
