Stranger Things Season 5 is, without question, the most anticipated release of the year. As we slowly inch towards the series finale season, the internet is ripe with theories and predictions about what the ending might look like. The creators of the show, the Duffer brothers, as well as the cast, have all called the ending a truly satisfying ending that will satisfactorily wrap up the legendary show.

Everything about the fifth and final season has been a mystery so far, except for an official teaser, which was released a while ago. Now, we're only two months away from the first volume's release, and Netflix has graced us with brand-new images from the fifth season.

Netflix also released a legacy featurette looking back on the seasons with the cast, one last time, before we begin the final adventure, Stranger Things Season 5.

Netflix drops brand-new images for Stranger Things Season 5

The first volume of Stranger Things Season 5 drops on November 26, and the second on Christmas, with the finale scheduled for New Year's Eve. We're two months away from the final season's release, making this the perfect time for the Season 1 rewatch to begin as preparation for the final season's release.

Netflix itself is using this time to take us on a look back at the four seasons of the pop culture juggernaut and the nine years that we've spent with this group of kids. The latest trailer release from the streamer is a featurette that takes us back to the beginning of how much everything has changed over the years, and everything that we can expect in the final season.

As the featurette takes us through the innocent games of D&D in the first season and the impeccable guest stars in every season, we also get a glimpse at some new montages from the upcoming season.

Apart from the scenes that we've seen in the official teaser, the featurette also provides us with some new clips, such as Lucas in the hospital room where Max is admitted. We see him sitting by and holding the hands of a still unconscious Max. Stranger Things has been known to get progressively bigger with every season, in terms of the threats that the gang faces and everything that is at stake for them.

The new images in the behind-the-scenes video from Netflix reveal that the fifth season is going to amplify everything much more. The Duffer brothers also comment in the behind-the-scenes video that the final season is set to be:

"biggest season we've ever had, in terms of action, in terms of visual effects, in terms of story."

The video also gives us a look at some brand-new moments between Eleven and Mike as they appear to be sitting on a rooftop, sharing a personal moment, away from the threats, the violence, and all the noise. Similarly, Hooper and Joyce are also seen sharing a heartwarming moment in between all the noise and the chaos around them, finding peace with each other.

The brand-new images for Stranger Things Season 5 make it clear, more than anything, that the final conclusion will be an amalgamation of everything fans have come to love about the show over the last decade.
