Vince Gilligan's American crime drama series Breaking Bad certainly needs no introduction and has become one of the most iconic television shows in the last two decades.

The show's legacy has inspired many series in the crime genre and Bryan Cranston's portrayal of the antihero Walter White earned him Global recognition. Even years after its conclusion, fans still remember the show's effect on pop culture and visiting its iconic locations is a dream for many.

Debuting in January 2008, the show was primarily shot in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.

Here are some iconic Breaking Bad filming locations every fan should visit once.

Iconic Breaking Bad filming locations to visit in Albuquerque

1) Walter White's House

The location that started everything. A tour of Breaking Bad locations should start with Walter White's house, located at 3828 Piermont Dr., Albuquerque, NM 87111. While this is the most iconic location, and we understand if you would like to fling a pizza onto its roof, the current owners do not allow trespassers.

In fact, the home is guarded by fences and also has a security vehicle parked in the driveway to ward off fans of the show.

2) Los Pollos Hermanos

Moving on to a Breaking Bad filming location that you can actually visit, Los Pollos Hermanos is the fictional fast-food chain restaurant frequented by Walter and Jesse. A front for Gustavo Fring's drug business, the iconic location is named Twisters and you can find it at 4257 Isleta Blvd SW, Albuquerque.

The staff is super sweet and it is the perfect spot to order a sandwich and click a picture.

3) Jesse’s Apartment

Jane and Jesse's humble rental abode is another iconic Breaking Bad location where the lovers bonded over drugs and art, until things went haywire for them. Surely one of the most tragic locations on the show, the rental is a real-life private property at 323 Terrace St SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.

The exterior of the building is pretty nostalgic to all the fans and while Jesse did not find his fresh start here, you can indeed find it on your next trip.

4) The Desert (Walter's meth cooking location)

The iconic Breaking Bad location is every fan's dream. Even non-fans can recognise the vast and isolated stretch of desert that ultimately became Walter's kitchen for cooking meth. The many RV sessions, Walter's confessional tape sequence and the Season 5 finale's ultimate showdown, this place has seen it all.

Since it's an open stretch of land, it does not have a fixed address, but it is approximately an hour outside Albuquerque. Known as the To'Hajiilee or the Cañoncito Band of Navajos, it is a non-contiguous section of land located west of Albuquerque.

5) Walter White's superlab

The massive lab facility that served as Walt and Jesse’s large-scale drug operation is located at 1617 Candelaria Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM. While the superlab was a soundstage created for the show, the laundromat above is still functioning.

While you will not find an illegal drug operation, stopping by the Lavandería Brillante laundromat will surely be nostalgic for all the fans.

6) Saul Goodman's office

The show's success led to its spin-off series Better Call Saul, and the titular character's law office is also one of the show's iconic locations. Located in a strip mall, Goodman's office has now been replaced with a bar and restaurant at 9800 Montgomery Blvd NE.

You can still have a pit stop and bask in the history of this iconic location.

Other iconic locations include the Crossroads Motel (1001 Central Ave NE) and the Mister Car Wash (9516 Snow Heights Circle NE).
