After Muriel sacrificed her chief job for Carol, Josh was made the new chief, and he already has a lot on his plate. In addition to his routine duties as a doctor and the responsibility of Bronx, he is also in proximity with his ex-boyfriend.

The preview suggests that two patients will end up at Bronx General in Brilliant Minds Season 2 Episode 5 after suffering a major accident and falling from a building. While this proved that Wolf and Josh could work together as a team, the latter subtly told his boss that he would continue to practice his unconventional treatment methods. If Josh cannot accept his way of practicing medicine, maybe it's time he looked for a new neurologist.

This tease directly materialized into the Hudson Oaks timeline, where Wolf managed to sneak away a phone and call Josh. He revealed that he is being kept against his will. Before he could tell him further details, he was caught by the orderlies. Just before the scene cuts, we see Charlie Porter overhearing Wolf's call in Josh's office as the new head neurologist of Bronx General. While the hospital would naturally need a new neurologist after Wolf, Charlie's new position is highly suspicious.
