Business Proposal is a heart-warming rom-com that dominates the K-drama industry even today. It aired in 2022 but is still very much relevant in the trending category on Netflix today.
The story involves Shin Ha-ri, who works for a food company, but things take an unexpected turn when she is set up on a blind date by her friend, Jin Young-seo. On the other hand, she is not aware of the fact that her date is actually the wealthy CEO of her company, Kang Tae-moo.
Kang Tae-moo has his own struggles and is a borderline workaholic. But he is being pressured by his grandpa to find a bride. He decides that he will marry the next woman he meets. Kang Tae-moo offers a proposal here. Shin Ha-ri needs to play the CEO's fiancée, but that's not an easy job, right?
The female lead is a simple, hardworking girl (and of course, a talented researcher), and acting as a wealthy man's fiancée requires something close to shape-shifting. But they are not the only characters in the series. I mean, 12 episodes don't run with a handful of actors, right? So if you are hooked on the characters, here's the complete cast list.
Business Proposal cast and characters

Primary cast
Kang Tae-moo is played by Ahn Hyo-seop.
He is deemed a handsome, workaholic CEO of Go Food, the same company Se-jeong works for. He is grounded, calm, and helpful. But the only thing he is focused on is his business. However, in the later parts of the show, we can see his romantic and vulnerable traits as well.
Shin Ha-ri is played by Kim Se-jeong.
She is a researcher for Kang's company. She is seen as hardworking, talented, and helpful. Also, she is always there for her friends, no matter how unreasonable their demands might be sometimes. For example, she went on a “fake date” with her CEO to scare him.
Kim Min-kyu acts as Cha Sung-hoon.
He is Tae-moo's secretary and a brother-like friend. He is supportive and loyal and has always been by the CEO's side for a long time. But little did he know that he had his own romance building up somewhere down the line.
The character of Jin Young-seo is played by Seol In-ah.
She is Shin Ha-ri's best friend. She comes from an extremely wealthy background and, in fact, is the heiress of a large organization. A sweet, adorable fling develops between Young-seo and Sung-hoon, parallel to the lead couple's story in Business Proposal.
