Law and Order: SVU star Ice T opened up on his shocking food habits
Ice-T caused waves on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon when he revealed that prior to the filming of a particular scene on Law & Order: SVU that required him to eat a bagel, he hadn't ever tasted the food item.
"I had never eaten a bagel. I've eaten once since then. What happened was, on the show they wanted me to eat a bagel, I said I don't eat bagels, so. But it was in the script, so you know, I just did it. But I acted like I ate it, I didn't eat it. So then I'm on Twitter and somebody goes, 'Why that kind of bagel?' I said because it was in the script. Then they said, 'What's your favorite?' and I said I've never had a bagel and then everybody lost their goddamn mind. Then I said I've never had coffee either. So I don't know why that's so hard for people to believe."

Star Ice-T has been a part of the NBC show for more than four hundred episodes and has come to be recognized as one of the pillars of the narrative. Speaking in an interview with Variety magazine, Ice-T opened up about his time on the show, along with his interesting insights:
"They wanted me to come out there and only do four episodes. At the time, I was trying to run a record label, so I was like, ‘Eh,’” he recalls. “Four episodes turned into 24 years."
He further added about working in collaboration with executive producer Mariska Hargitay:
"I can’t say this about a lot of people — not even myself! — but in the 24 years we’ve been working together, he’s never come to the set in a bad mood, and he’s never complained.
