Following the release of Cashero K-drama on Netflix, fans are thrilled to see Lee Jun-ho playing the protagonist alongside other fan-favorites like Lee Chae-min, Kang Han-na and more. The story isn't just about superpowers, but also about making tough choices in life and leaving behind desires to save people.

As seen in the first episode, Lee appears as a normal man named Kang Sang-ung who has a pretty and understanding girlfriend. The couple is looking for their dream home, but Sang-ung doesn't have much savings to buy a lavish apartment.

However, he still wishes to do his best for Kim Min-suk and decides to make more money. Later, Sang-ung visits his parents in town, and that's when his father transfers his superpowers to him.

Sang-ung is shocked to learn that his superpower is dependent on money. The more he uses his powers, the more money disappears. Despite this, he fights crime and saves people. The main villain in this K-drama is the power-hungry sibling duo Jo Anna and Jonathan.

They belong to the Criminal Society and have been abducting those with superpowers. These criminals take away the superpowers with a scientific procedure and use them in their shady businesses.

By the end of Cashero, Kang Sang-ung manages to defeat Jo Anna and Jonathan. However, he does this with the help of ordinary people and not just with his superpowers. He has always wished for a normal life, and this is what he gets in the finale with Min-suk.

As Cashero begins, Kang Sang-ung also learns about being a human with superpowers. The more money in his pocket, the stronger he becomes. For most of his journey, he had the wrong idea about where his strength came from.

He thought his power was directly tied to money because every time he fought, jumped, or saved someone, he physically lost cash. He belived that money was the fuel. The more her loses fuel, the more he gets into danger.

However, this belief completely breaks when he comes up against the Jo family, mainly the two evil siblings: Jo Anna and Jonathan. It felt like they had lost humanity because these siblings only focused on gaining as much power as they could with money, even if it meant snatching away the superpowers from others.

Interestingly, Sang-ung wasn't the only guy with powers. There were many like him, with different powers like fire, but Jo Anna made sure to ruin them all. The Jo family is incredibly wealthy and Sang-ung realizes that he cannot just beat them with money.

He needs something more powerful, and that's his determination to save people and his loved ones. He can dethrone the rivals with support from those who believe in him and, more importantly, believe in humanity.

The final fight happens in a place where people should feel safe, their own apartment building. Instead, it becomes terrifying. Jonathan, who has gained unstable powers through artificial methods, attacks the residents directly.

Fires spread through the building, people scream and run, and everything turns chaotic within moments. Sang-ung tries to protect everyone at the same time. He keeps using his powers again and again, putting himself under extreme strain. Eventually, his body gives out.

At this moment in the finale of Cashero, it looked like Sang-ung had lost everything and even the people felt like their biggest defender had been defeated. Then something unexpected changes the situation. The residents, who were earlier frozen with fear, begin to understand how Sang-ung’s abilities actually work.

They realize that money allows him to keep fighting. Instead of waiting to be saved, they take action themselves. People start throwing their own money toward him and urge others to do the same. This way, they transform their fear into power.

Sang-ung is no longer fighting alone. He is being supported by everyday people who now understand that their survival depends on helping one another. Other superpowered individuals also stand with him, showing that the real power is in helping each other.

Finally, Sang-ung finds the strength to stand up again. Backed by the people he is protecting, he is finally able to defeat Jonathan for good. He even tells him that living an ordinary life is the best thing, and even urged him to step back before the Jo siblings were defeated.

Cashero K-drama ends with Sang-ung getting back to his normal life with Min-suk after defeating Jonathan and bringing down the Criminal Society. Sang-ung and Min-suk reach the peaceful life they had been hoping for all along. They move into a new home and finally experience stability instead of chaos.

The other superpowered characters in Cashero are also freed from Jo Anna's trap. Ho-in reunites with his daughter, but he also feels regret about the fact that he passed on an ability that could bring harm, and that guilt stays with him even as he tries to move forward.

Those who caused harm do not escape consequences. Jo Won-do is held accountable for his financial wrongdoing and faces punishment for his crimes. Jo Anna’s story ends in tragedy too.

Nathan’s fall feels like a natural result of the cruelty and destruction he caused. Cashero ends by making one final point clear. None of these people are perfect hero. Every one of them loses something, whether it is safety, innocence, or peace of mind. And after all the chaos, they chose ordinary life.
