Scott M. Gimple, the creative force behind the show and its Chief Content Officer, has made it clear that while The Ones Who Live was always designed as a one-and-done limited series, Rick, Michonne, and their family’s story might not be over for good.
Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick, shares a similar sentiment. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, he didn’t rule out returning to the universe, saying, “Never say never.”
"Never say never. There are other very important characters in the universe that are still wandering around and alive, that I think it might be quite exciting to have them breathe the same air and see how long they survive together. But it's a difficult one. It would have to be like this, a really exciting story."
Why The Walking Dead spin-off is worth watching?

It features big action sequences, tense set pieces and strong performances by Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira.
