Celebrity Family Feud Season 11 Episode 9: What happened during the Team Wallace vs. Team Rel battle?

The recently released Celebrity Family Feud episode featured the first battle between George Wallace's Team Wallace and Lil Rel Howery's Team Rel.

While welcoming and introducing both teams, show host Steve Harvey talked to George Wallace for Team Wallace:

"George Wallace taught me, and he taught all of us. Starred and co-created the sitcom Clean Slate. Been on everything. Funniest dude I've ever met."

George then introduced his teammates. This included his daughter Sheryl, ex-wife Jeanne, his son DC Young Fly, and his twin sister Kym. Team Rel featured comedian Lil Rel Howery, his fiancée Dannella, his aunt Jennie, his stepdaughter Dayla, and his brother Matt.

The Celebrity Family Feud episode started with George Wallace and Lil Rel against each other for the first question.

"Name something you hope a new lover doesn't do when you take off your clothes in front of them," the show host asked the first question.

Lil Rel was the first one to press the buzzer. His answer was, Laugh. It was the first answer on the scoreboard, with 52 points. With Lil Rel being the first one to press the buzzer, his team chose to play the round.

Celebrity Family Feud host went to Lil Rel's team and asked the same question to the rest of the teammates. Their answers were scream, throw up, and pass gas. The last two were not on the scoreboard.

The same team was asked the same question. Their answers were: cover their eyes, pass out. The last answer marked third strike. After that, Steve went to Team Wallace to ask the same question. Their answer was leave, which was on the scoreboard.

For the next question, Sheryl and Dannella came forward.

"You'll be annoyed to find out that the flowers your date gave you came from where?" asked Steve Harvey.

Dannella's answer was his other girlfriend (8 points), while Sheryl said the cemetery (42 points). Team Wallace chose to play. The show host then asked the team the same question. Their answers were: the grocery store (17 points), crackhead (strike one), the hospital (strike two), on the freeway (strike three).

After three strikes, Steve went back to Team Rel and asked the same question. Their answers were: the garbage (earned 11 points). Team Wallace earned 71 points while Team Rel had 67 points.

Up next, Jeannie and Jeanne came forward to face the next question.

"Name something that if you could actually see all the germs on it, you'll never touch it," said the show host.

Jeanne was the first one to answer: A toilet (10 points). Jennie said food (13 points). Steve then went to Team Rel to ask the same question. Their answers were: Phone (16 points), door handle (31 points), shoes (strike one), a steering wheel (strike two), a glass of water (strike three).
