The much-awaited Dancing With The Stars Season 34 finale was released on November 25, 2025. Viewers witnessed wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin and Witney Carson taking home the legendary Mirror Ball Trophy.

After winning the renowned dance reality show, Robert Irwin opened up about his victory. While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, the winning couple reflected on their journeys.

Robert mentioned that he was overwhelmed and that his DWTS win changed his life:

"I'm just feeling such an overwhelming sense of gratitude. I mean, this is...this has changed my life, and I'm so happy I took this experience now because now for the rest of my life, I take what I've learned here and I take this friendship that is so incredibly special and I'll have that forever and that is the greatest gift of all."

After Dancing With The Stars hosts announced Robert and Witney as the winners, he opened up about his time on the ABC show.

While talking to Entertainment Tonight's Denny Directo, Robert and Witney celebrated their win. They could not stop screaming and stating how they "did it."

Robert answered the question regarding how he felt after winning Dancing With The Stars. Along with gratitude, Robert also felt overwhelmed. While sharing his happiness, he mentioned that it had changed his life.

The wildlife conservationist admitted that he would carry the experience with him and carry it for the rest of his life. DWTS winner also talked about his and Witney's friendship and how exceptional it was.

"My sister's here. I remember when I watched right here in this room 10 years ago to the day, watching her lift that trophy. To have that experience to follow in her footsteps and to represent my family's legacy is everything," shared Robert.

Further, Robert said that it was a deserved win for Witney. He appreciated her efforts and reflected on how he had applauded her throughout their journey.

"She is the greatest, and I have admired her on this process so much, and so I'm so proud."

For the fans who might not know, it had been ten years since Robert's sister won DWTS. Additionally, it had also been eleven years since Witney Carson also won the trophy with current co-host, Alfonso Ribeiro.

When asked about Witney's win with Alfonso, Witney mentioned that it meant everything to her. She admitted that during the show's current season, Robert had really changed her.

"Robert really changed me and kind of lit a fire back into me that was maybe dimmed for a minute. And I feel like this is just such an amazing experience with you. and I'm your friend and sister forever," said Witney.

The two thanked each other and celebrated their win.
