It is clear that the patient needs emergency care but Violet and Novak's ambulance is stuck in a traffic jam. They contact Pascal in this emergency, who is in Annette's office with Severide. Violet discovers that she cannot get another ambulance due to budget cuts, which is where Kidd steps in. She sends Truck 81 to meet with the ambulance and transport the patient to Med.The traffic jam was still a problem and Severide suggested using the ariel to shift the patient to Truck 81. Vasquez steps up to this task and the patient was finally transported to Truck 81.
