Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 21: A quick refresher
The penultimate episode of Chicago Med was filled with some shocking twists and revelations. The episode began with Dr. Frost struggling to save Noah, a young patient who needed a lung transplant immediately. However, another patient's billionaire father jumped the queue and acquired the lungs that were initially meant for Noah. This pushed Dr. Frost's patient into a life-threatening situation as his parents did not want their son to be on a ventilator.
Meanwhile, Dr. Archer's first patient was Dr. Lenox's sibling, Kip. Kip complained of tripping over things frequently. Soon, Archer came to know that the Lenox siblings were afraid of getting tested. They made a pact not to get tested after their parents died due to an unknown condition.
On the other hand, Dr. Lenox reported Dr. Hayes for sexual misconduct with Naomi. She informed Dr. Sharon Goodwin, who in turn raised the matter to the hospital board, but since Dr. Hayes had made donations to the hospital, he received the bare minimum punishment. However, his victory was short-lived; soon his misconducts were leaked to a media outlet.
It was Naomi who gathered the courage to leak Hayes' wrongdoings to a newspaper. This led to Dr. Hayes being fired from the hospital. There were, in fact, several other reports of harassment against Hayes. However, Naomi informed Sharon that she would be leaving Gaffney and relocating to start afresh.
Elsewhere, Dr. Charles attended his mother Margaret's funeral, and in an emotional eulogy, regretted not mending their relationship before her death. Charles finally reunited with his daughters, Robin and Anna. Anna, Charles' younger daughter, confessed that she had dropped out of the university. On the other hand, Dr. Asher was shocked to find out that she was pregnant and thus cannot be a surrogate for her sister.
