Showrunner Allen MacDonald has dropped some intriguing hints about her upcoming journey in Chicago Med. In an interview with NBC Insider,

“The certainty [of Lenox’s diagnosis] is most definitely going to affect how she behaves moving forward. And I think the audience will be as surprised as Lenox will be.”

Hence, she is also confirmed to return for the upcoming season. Fans can also expect the return of S. Epatha Merkerson (Sharon Goodwin), Luke Mitchell (Dr. Mitchell Ripley), Steven Weber (Dr. Dean Archer), Oliver Platt (Dr. Daniel Charles), and Darren Barnet (Dr. John Frost) for the upcoming season of the series.
